Pros: Nice screen decent calling sound, good camera
Cons: Short battery life, will just shut down and restart sometimes for now reason, if it shuts down and does not restart I have to remove the battery and reinstall it to start phone. Customer service is really bad
Summary: I was so excited to get this device, but oh boy do I regret it. On paper it seems like the best smartphone out there, but the device is just not up to par. It was laggy, battery life was horrible, power button was a little wonky etc. The good points were the camera, the screen and the build quality.
Very disappointed. It is worse than my Samsung Exhibit II.
3 August 2012
Summary: Short battery life. Screen has multiple bright spots(dead pixels?)within 3 weeks of ownership. Wi-Fi does not scan most of the time (both automatically & manually). Keeps dropping connections to Wi-Fi. Already rma'd for repair.
Summary: no where near the functionality and speed of an Iphone. the gps is very jumpy and slow, the internet speeds are terrible also when compared side by side. switch to and iphone you will not regret it!
"Skip this phone. Good specs but under performance."
27 March 2012
Pros: Nice feel in hand, sturdy design. Screen is large, sharp, and clear especially indoors. Packed with features.
Cons: Poor battery life. Camera button unlocks phone in my pocket. Phone lags Power button captures screen shot when trying to turn off phone. At times, phone will not allow me to unlock when a call is coming in.
"NO SIGNAL & FULLY CHARGED PHONE AUTOMATICALLY TURNS OFF"
17 March 2012
Pros: GOOD QUALITY PICTURES BIG FLAT SCREEN
Cons: NO SIGNAL ISSUE NO MATTER MY LOCATION UNLESS THE PHONE IS REBOOTED TWICE.T-MOBILE REPS CAN'T FIX AFTER SEVERAL CALLS. FINALLY MASTER RESET WHICH CAUSE LOSS OF ALL OLD NEW FAMILY PICTURES IN SD CARD AND I WAS TOLD IT WON'T HAPPEN. BATTERY ISSUE.
Pros: The phone is fast and texting was easy compare to other phones I've used. The color rendition of photos the camera produced was very good to excellent.
Cons: I found the battery life very short and battery recharge time seemed long compared to other phones I've used including Blackberries (not that I like Blackberry because I don't). I found the Amaze also tedious to use instead of a pleasure with simple task
Pros: 1. High speed data. On the T-mobile network I average 15 Mbps or more (speedtest.net) in the Metro Detroit region. 2. Video quality. Despite the picture taking ability falling WAY short of expectation, the video quality is actually impressive.
Cons: 1. The camera. If you are like me, you waited for this phone to be released because of all the HYPE surrounding the camera specs. Backlit sensor, HDR, Clearshot, blah blah blah. All POINTLESS because the jpeg compression is cranked up to the max. EVERY pi
