Summary: The HP App store is down, but it still tries to download multiple times a day, wasting my data. Thus no apps, including Google Maps. The battery sometimes decides it's good for 3 days or a couple hours.
Summary: Well I ordered a HP VEER because I love Web OS and the fact I could put this phone in my shirt pocket if I needed to sounded great. The phone arrived and I activated it on Straight Talk (basically AT&T service).
out of the box not so great need the 2.2.4 update.

Summary: I had problems with the light sensor during call blackout makes it unusable. I added the 2.2.4 update to the phone it corrected the light sensor problem. I also added preware to allow me to add useful items to make it better and more friendly.
Summary: i ordered the hp veer knowing it was very small. the apps really really blow on this phone as they do on all palm phones. very small hard to text. i was surprised iwth being able to watch youtube videos. also the charging dock was great and its only like 5 bucks.
Summary: This phone is good for the standard needs, but does not match up with an Android smartphone. The screen is way too small. If you were going to buy a touchscreen phone, buy one with a bigger screen. It is fine to read text on, but I will definitely not be watching videos on my Veer.
