Summary: New and unlocked, since I already owed a HP Veer. Just put in my sim card since I new how to setup it went very smoothly and I was up and running. Screen size is nice, clear, brilliant, very strong built materials, operating system is the best and the price was perfect.
Summary: This phone is a Great phone! Really happy with it. I'm using it with Simple mobile, cheapest plans out there dead serious. It is easy to use, and really great. The only things I don't like about the phone is the keyboard, it's annoying typing in it since the keys are so small, I'd prefer an on screen keyboard. Also, if you plan to buy it thinking of using it to use apps with it, THIS IS NOT YOUR PHONE...
Summary: I enjoy WebOS and have the matching HP Touchpad. I don't use cell phones very much and do not have a data plan. This one allows use of WiFi which is very handy. Unfortunately, to completely finish the set up of the phone by signing into a WebOS account, the phone requires you to do it over the cell network and not via WiFi. I haven't found someone to borrow a SIM card from yet. However, I can make calls, text, and surf, etc.
Summary: i personally love palm pre devices i had the original pre with sprint and had almost no complaints if i would have a complaint it would be hp's app catalog not near the amount of apps you find on ios and android and also the screen size could be a bit bigger but if you look past that its a great very easy to use phone webos devices are highly underrated and got cheated in the long run but my conclusion is if your looking for a good phone thats dependable it would be a...
Summary: The phone is just like a mini comp. and coming from hp is one of the best products hp had on the market., It is sample easy to use and super fast, the camera takes pictures like a 12mp camera. it's excellent product.
Summary: The Palm Pre 2 has a fast processor. WebOS makes multitasking a breeze. The only downside is that Hp has pretty much abandoned the operating system. Most popular apps that can be found on android or ios are in the WebOS app store but with that said there is a lot lacking in apps for those who are big on downloading lots of apps.
Summary: Great appearence, great materials, great screen, very attractive and user-friendly OS, fast working. Those words go to advantages. Some problems you can find with its battery - I really don't know, is it my problem or minus of all pre 2, but it comes too hot while charging. Also, you should check gsm bands, because in my country (Russia) the 3g standard doesn't work at all.
Summary: Some reviewers seem to be confused either about which phone they posted a review to (g2???) or what they were purchasing (no virtual keyboard = no input [seems that user never discovered the phone has a slide-out physical keyboard?!?!?], can't have multiple email accounts active???). The Pre 2 is a webOS phone, the last fully supported model from Palm/HP. My Pre 2 runs great.
Love WebOS, love this phone, speedy elegant awesome!!!

Summary: If you know about, and appreciate, the elegance and usefulness that is WebOS, then this phone is just about perfect. Speedy, close to zero of the lag problems experienced with first version, the Palm Pre. The annoying USB door is gone, thankfully. Gorilla glass feels solid and responsive. Slider mechanism also feels solid. Battery life surprisingly good and seems to even have improved a bit since having used the phone for two months or so.
