  • Excerpt: I used this mobile for 2 years and only had to stop when it fell in some water and the screen stopped working. It is a nice handset, quite large and solid. I found it very reliable and easy to use. The buttons are quite large, which is very convenient.
  • Pros: reliable
  • Cons: none

  • Excerpt: I got this phone free, and for free it is great! It is almost totally indestructable! I threw it at my brother really hard, but he moved out of the way, and the phone smashed against a brick wall. All that happened was the battery fell off and the casing came apart a bit.
  • Cons: "Tendancy for battery to fall off"

  • Excerpt: I bought my Ericsson A1018s only to use for a couple of months, as it’s vital I have a mobile phone as I commonly receive important calls. And plus I would be lost without one as I don’t have a landline phone. I bought mine for £29.99 after spending £40 at Safeway’s.
  • Pros: Strength, more features than rival M3788e
  • Cons: poor reliability,looks,Voda network .

I LOVE MY BRIIIIICK

  • Excerpt: I'm a no-nonsense kinda guy. I want a phone that works, rings people, texts, and won't get damaged in a Laserquest arena. 2 months and a few tokens later, and I've got meself an A1018S. No regrets. The main reason I got the A1018S is because it is solid. Really rock solid.
  • Pros: Big, sturdy, dialable, functional, well made brick !
  • Cons: Hard to find accessories .   Doesn't make a cup of tea .

  • Excerpt: Ericsson A-1018S that has appeared in our market more of a year back is a popular model already. For this time the device had time to confirm reliability and quality of production of company Ericsson, that in a combination to the low price makes it rather attractive.
  • Cons: "short battery life"

  • Excerpt: “I’m on the bus!” Mobile phones can be annoying no matter how many features they include, but the A1018s takes the biscuit. The sheer size of the thing is ridiculous, and the ariel is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen in the world of consumer electronics.
  • Cons: "Flimsy buttons"

  • Excerpt: This is a good old war horse that's pretty long in the tooth now - it is not exactly the most "up-to-date" "high spec" "modern" of mobiles around these days, however its still not a bad buy! Advantages: The signal is pretty good and it's excellent value for money now-a-days.
