Summary: I have to agree with several others that this phone is a big disappointment. I bought it from Amazon in March 2013. It started turning itself off at random times several months later but I was dealing with a serious family illness and then death, so never got around to contacting Doro till after the warranty expired. Needless to say they were not sympathetic. I should have pushed for a replacement/refund based on " not fit for purpose" but haven't yet.
Summary: I'm 88 - I trained as a technician before I retired so this helped me with computers etc. I would not give anyone a smartphone if they had little or no knowledge of computers. I would give them a straightforward basic mobile. If they are deaf then ACTION ON HEARING LOSS [ The old RNID ] sell special phones that have good amplfication. This phone is fine for someone like myself.
Summary: Stopped working right after two months. Turns itself off and does not repond to touch 95% of time. Contacted Doro as still under warranty. Useless, would only assist discussions with supplier. The supplier did not respond to email sent via Amazon. Internet buying can have awful disadvantages PS battery was defunct as well.
Summary: My main reasons for buying this product were my age (73) and the 5mp camera, and whilst the camera is very good the instructions for EASILY using it and SAFELY transferring photos to my pc were scant - to say the least. It is named the "PhoneEasy" but I had a bad time getting it set up plus the problems that led to my holiday photos being virtually useless. There has to be better alternatives around?
Very very exspensive andriod phone - which isnt really an android phone

Summary: This phone is sold as an android phone - which it is - but they don't tell you its an android phone with a doro software skin on it only allowing you to download ONLY their own apps. This phone was a nightmare to use on O2 and Virgin Mobile. It would establish a call then it would just drop the call with no warning. The ICE function was ok except it did not include your location in the email sent requesting assistance.
Summary: this phone is not very good for elderly people the volume is not a s good as the doro 615,loudspeaker is not loud, not worth the £200 i paid for this phone, the doro 615 is the best ,and you can not customise the display ie no photos,no wallpaper, no this phone is not very good and email do not bother .better to write a letter..the screen text is small ..
Summary: The phone was very heavy compared to other phones of a similar size and I found it was not very user friendly. The Touch screen was not very responsive and the set up instructions were confusing. Having used it for a while I consider it to be over priced and does not live up to it's publicity. I would not recommend it to anyone.
