Summary: I bought this for my elderly mother. She is finding it easy to use and the settings are clear and intuitive to use. The buttons are a reasonable size and the screen also very clear. Menu system fairly obvious to me and she is coping well with it. Much easier for her than the little nokia she had before. Set up was entirely straight forward. The charging dock easy and convenient.
Summary: I had high hopes for this phone and I'm afraid it doesn't really live up to them. It's alright but not amazing. I wanted a flip phone as I tend to drop/scratch/break phones easily so wanted something hardy, I've had it several months now and it's still in one piece so it fullfills that need. However it can be frustrating in that fairly basic things can't be done on it.
Summary: simple to use mobile phone with technophope proof directions - kind to fingers when texting unlike my old Nokia which always broke my nails, but found it a little frustrating and slow after using the Nokia for years - but have now learnt to 'go slow'. Predictive text which is handy. The camera is very good -compared to my old Nokia.

Summary: You don't have to be elderly to appreciate the functional simplicity of this phone. For those of us who actually have a life and don't feel the need to be permanently attached to one - this is perfect. I don't need games, but there are a couple included, nor do I really need the radio (earphones included & not a bad pick-up), no, I wanted a PHONE! One I, or anyone, could grab in an emergency & it's clear enough to find a no. or ICE info in seconds.
Summary: My Mum is 94 and this works for her - I disabled some of the confusing functions like camera and radio that she doesn't need and programmed the emergency alert button. She can use the phone and text functions with reasonable confidence and I think this is as good a phone as it is possible to get for an elderly user.
Summary: I was nervous about purchasing this phone as I had read some bad reviews and, although they sell it in many high street stores, I was unable to see the phone working before I purchased it. My grandad wanted a phone which was simple to use but which also allowed the family to send him picture messages. This phone is brilliant!! My grandad (at 88) finds it so easy to use after only a few lessons.
Delighted! The best present for my grandma - what a difference for her!

Summary: This item is absolutely fantastic and my grandma (92 and counting!) loved it (and she is known for being difficult to buy for, this is the first time ever I hear her saying how happy she is with a present and first time I see her genuinely pleased about something new!). It has made such a big difference for her! Like night and day compared with her old phone.
Summary: Smaller than expected, but does everything I want a phone to do. This sturdy, pocket sized phone has flip-close screen protection, big buttons for easy texting, 300 number storage capacity and clear ringtone with extra volume, ideal for me as I spend a lot of time outdoors and it is not always easy to hear my phone ringing. The camera surprised me, I didn't expect such good quality photos.
Summary: I was a little worried when I bought this phone as it seemed like a step backwards from my Samsung Galaxy but I kept missing calls because by the time I had got the phone out the call had gone and I was struggling to get the numbers I wanted rubbing and tapping the screen. When I received the Doro 612 what a difference! I found it easy to set up all my contacts were transferred with the sim from the Samsung.
