Texting is easy for both, who are the least tech savvy people you could wish to meet. Dad has the white phone, only because it was cheaper, but thinks it very smart.
Summary: I was pleased to find this phone because Im loosing part of my hearing range. All the upper registers are not as clear as they used to be. This phone solves a problem with having a larger and easier adjustable volume control, is also hearing aid compatible and answers all my problems.
Summary: Always been disappointed with Doro products. Tried a couple for my poorly sighted mother, both mobile and landline. Both were hopeless. This mobile simply did not work. Returned it. Some time later I got a landline phone off the net that looked just right. Hand't realised it was a Doro.

Summary: Great phone for the older person. Bought it for my mother in her 80's and it's been great. Simple operation, large numbers on both the keypad and the screen. Perfect for what is was bought for and a good price also.
Summary: Bought it for my elderly mother on pay-as-you-go and she seems able to grasp the basic phone. functions, but hasn't quite understood that if you jabber on for hours on it the money runs out. The keys are big enough and it is quite simple to use.
