A very good phone

harryo8014, Ebay
6 August 2012
  • Summary: Since I wear 2 hearing aids I had great expectations for this phone. I can't hear any better with it than I could with my land line phone but the price is right and I don't get many calls so I like it. I don't get any more telemarketers so that is great (for now). I just have to get used to it and I will like it better. Harry V.

very useful

Michael Horner, Amazon
14 January 2014
  • Summary: Bought this phone to use as hard of hearing and have hearing aids. Only problem is, cannot retrieve messages on voice mail without use of PIN. Spoken to service provider who has no knowledge how to use this phone, so we just get people to try and call again.

Early thoughts

ROG D, Amazon
27 November 2011
  • Summary: My early thoughts are pleasing - the phone is really easy to use, large, clear screen and execelent volume. Battery life good, however I did experience a strange fault - I opened the phone up to be faced with a 'mirror image' screen, hit a few buttons - menu etc with no effect. I switched it off and back on and all was back to normal. It's only happened once - so I hope it was just a strange software blip.

User Review

  • Summary: I bought this phone simply for the protective clam clover. The big buttons are great on it as it does make missing a button pretty much impossible. However if you're not tech wary and more techphile like me you will not like this phone so much. There is no camera and no internet which can be an annoyance. I used the internet too much on my old phone and wasted a lot of money so that is a plus for me this time. The only complaint I have is the texting system.
  • Pros: Simple, protective cover, big buttons.
  • Cons: Too simple if you're not used to it.

Doro PhoneEasy

molly, Amazon
15 January 2011
  • Summary: A seemingly excellent phone. Lovely big buttons and easy to set up. Long time between charging. Only disadvantage is there are so many steps to sending a simple text. I have to remember that a text is an SMS and not a text.

Doro PhoneEasy 410GSM

Alan, Amazon
1 January 2011
  • Summary: Phone seems ideal in terms of ease of use in terms of sound and clarity of display and looks good too. Clam-shell design is ideal for putting in a hand-bag. I bought one for my mother who is fairly techno-phobic and she is very pleased with it. Only thing is that when the phone arrived, we could only hear the person on the line by pressing speaker phone.
