good simple phone to use. instructions a bit vague
21 March 2013
Summary: phone is satisfactory so far (1 month) Had 2 days of no service, when I turned off power for a few minutes, it came back alive. Have had some new junk calls with no answer or message, just shows timing of call. designed to add call time?
Pros: don't have to open for camera use like last phone. big screen., holds charge well.option to use ringer and vibration at same time very useful. white letters on black background very readable.
Cons: signal is bad here, but I can still connect, and hear, but not on the other end. THE WORST THING ABOUT THIS PHONE IS THE DISPLAY MOVES R TO L WHEN RINGING AND YOU CAN NOT SEE AREA CODE BEFORE CALL ENDS. I get several junk calls a day I can't id.
Summary: i like this phone overall, but one very annoying problem is when i want to 'switch off' my phone, I may be in the doctors reception, or the library or in the theatre etc, it ask's do i want to 'power off?' when i press 'yes' a very loud bloody sound asks you if you want to switch off !!!! does any one else find this annoying ...........
Summary: We bought two of these phones last May and immediately fell in love with their simplicity and quality of use. However, both phones failed after a couple of months in service, within a month of each other. We sent them back to the supplier after a very curt note from Doro saying it was nothing to do with them in the first instance and we should contact our supplier.
Summary: The specification looked good. I alway prefer the clam shell design - safe and easy to use. Yes it's loud, has a big clear display and big buttons. But if you are changing from a mainstream phone this one is very frustrating to use. Texting is very slow, navigation is done by an up/down button instead of the usual up/down/left/right format - so it's awkward to use. It does not auto capitalise the first word of a sentence.
Summary: If you want an easy to use phone this is it, but it is incredibly slow also the space bar is in the middle of the bottom row so as most phones are on the right I keep slipping from predictive text to caps or numbers also you cant back space if you make a mistake, you have to delete right back to the error.
Summary: For deaf people it is very good for speech but very disappointing ring tone for text messages received, it has only a single tone in all 7 settings and is difficult to hear when the phone is in the pocket and outside noise is around, all the other fuctions are a pleasure to use.
