Summary: Note these phones are notorious for charger connection failures. The pin becomes worn/loose and it is near impossible to charge this phone. I had owned two of these phones which had the same problem. The next generation Doro 618 uses a different charger connection because of all the problems the 410 charger connection had.
Summary: Very slow to accept the input on Txt. No confirmation possible of sent or received, no choice of storing nos. on Sim or phone. But, very good large keys, illuminated and easy to see, good sound quality and signal. Excellent phone for my mother of 80, but too slow and annoying for me!
Summary: this phone is far too expensive for what you get for it - mainly aimed at the older generation for it's simplicity and large keys and like most things they are being fleeced - i looked for a clock for my father in law which displayed the day of the week in large numerals and letters as he is 92 and needed an aid memoire - again ridiculously expensive
Summary: Beware. This phone is billed a a tri-band( thoug I note they have put details of frequencies on it which doesn't mean anything to any but the most technical of us. The main thing is, if you want it to work in the US, it won't. Which is why I bought it, really.
Summary: I have had my Doro Phone a couple of months now - although the sound is loud it is of very poor quality - its very difficult to make out what people are saying - the battery is very, very disappointing. it needs charging every couple of days - the case of the phone is very fragile and the back feeps falling off - all in all a very disappointing and over expensive purchase.
Summary: The Doro PhoneEasy is the best Mobile Phone that I could find for the older person i.e. Big Clear Buttons, Loud to ear-splitting Ringtones, Large Text for your Phone Book, Bluetooth to SOME hearing aids but that's where it ends. The Bluetooth system is not compatible with Parrot in car "Hands Free" kit; The Text Messaging system is oh so slow and laborious even with the AutoText Switched on and whats the point of having MMS when the phone does not even have a basic...
Summary: I bought this phone for its simplicity. However it is far too simplistic for Anyone who wants Any Control over the phone. At over £100 and being so simplistic I would have Expected the following. To be able to Turn Off the Open & Shutdown noises. To be able to Turn Off the touchpad light when lighting is adequate. To be able to Change the font, and the font size. To be able to Control the writing of the texts better, enter for example.
