"Dead after one year and one month of little use."
5 March 2013
Pros: easy to use for seniors, large display
Cons: With very little, was never dropped, never subject to extreme temperatures or anything else that would result in damages, this phone lasted one year and one month - yes - it just missed the 12 month warranty period so was no longer covered.
Pros: It is a nice sturdy phone to handle and the numbers are a good size.
Cons: When txting having to scroll through your whole phone book to get the person you want to txt. Also only stores cell phone numbers for each person no ability to store 2 numbers or an address for a person. Very frustrating.
"Poor quality design for the elderly not impaired vision"
2 December 2010
Pros: The phone feature large buttons with large numbers on which are fairly easy to press and the sreen is quite large.
Cons: Not for disabled Small font size difficult to read for impaired vision also difficult phone to open not as easy as the razor phone previously owned . Not for young people severe lack of functions. Simplified phone, boring n not practical.
Summary: bought this for the wife,,, ok the buttons are big and the phone works ok,,, but texting is a nightmare, it has an annoying habbit of repeating every letter, (i put it in the dustbin after trying to sell it for £20. .
Summary: i bought this for my mum who is partial sighted, she couldnt get on with it, if your after a phone that you can just ring people then fine. but if not stay away, i had to put the large print on for my mum and there was only 2 sizes so on the larger one you had 1 word to the screen and it was split in half. worse buy ever!!!!
Summary: I bought this phone for my mother who is almost 70 and has been hard hearing since birth. I thought this would be ideal for her...and it was...for 14 months! After which the earpiece on the phone stopped working. When I contacted Doro, they said it would cost £50 to fix. I thought this was insanely expensive...especially as it was just out of warranty (2 months) and it is used about 3-4 times per week, never dropped or misused in any way.
Summary: I have purchased two of the Doro PhoneEasy 410GSM GSM Sim Free Mobile Phone - Black, one through Amazon and one direct. They were both fantastic, living up to their description for a week and ten days respectively and then they began reversing the screen and losing information as well doubling contacts etc. To my amazement, Doro were less than helpful, did not offer a replacement, charged for its return and deducted £10 from the refund both times! Shame on Doro!
Summary: Unfortunatly only had this phone for 2-3 weeks when there was a fault, after taking out battery it reset itself but again shortly afterwards this fault happened again. The phone looked as if it was calling out but you could not hear a ring tone and on trying to call the phone it went straight onto voicemail and never range as a call coming in. This phone was returned and I have now been informed my money is being refunded.
Summary: Innerhalb 3 Wochen zerstörte das 410gsm die SIM von Congstar (Telekom).
