Dell Windows Phone

M. Wall, Amazon
  • Summary: I love the phone, pretty and built solid! Minus three stars for it being Windows. This was my first Windows phone and it will be my last! The problem with Windows phone is you have to connect to a pc to download apps or update the phone, unlike iPhone or android.

Pass this one by and get a Nokia 520.

kaleyl, Ebay
5 August 2014
  • Summary: This phone is no longer supported by Dell as they stopped making them. You cannot update to the latest version of Windows phone and therefore you do NOT have access to all apps in the marketplace. Waste of money. I bought mine at Walmart new and returned it 2 days later.

Missing instructions, earpbuds?

Bruce A. Benet, Amazon
25 July 2014
  • Summary: Looks like a nice phone and delivered in good condition; however, didn't include earphone buds, or, most importantly, manual and/or quick startup guide. This is my fourth smartphone (although I admit, at 55, I'm somewhat techno-challenged); however this is the very first time any purchased phone has...

Not Cheap Enough to Make Up For it's Flaws

Dan, Amazon
16 July 2014
  • Summary: Pros: Decent physical QWERTY keyboard, cheap. Cons: Screen is poor, and very thick which makes the touch screen harder to use. The camera has a hard time focusing and is borderline in-useable in low light.

  • Summary: Internet search too slow and the phone is too cumbersome to operate. I can't open attachments and can't send them. I don't think this phone is as user-friendly as a android phone.
