good for simple easy to use for technically challenged seniors
14 February 2012
Summary: I was looking for a simple device that is easy for use by aged mother. Units featured at the phone stores are small and difficult to use. Then, you end up committing for two years. This phone was reasonably priced and had senior-friendly features. A little bulky but that allows for a large number pad.
Summary: The phone it's ok, have a big numbers, good sound, easy to use, but the problem is that we cannot use it in my country. The ad say is unlocked but it's not working, I called to the Clarity help desk, and they told me that I can use this phone just in USA. Now I can say that my daughter is using it like her new toy. I had to buy other one for my father.
Summary: Phone is really too large, even for someone elderly, as it can be hard to hold on too. Construction is somewhat loose and very "toy" like. It has great signal strength though but lacks ease of customizing the icons. Doesn't seem like it would hold up to too much abuse. For the price it's not bad but I really believe they could do better and realize this is a very untouched market.
Summary: I received the phone and thought I made agreat buy, well I didnt, I wasted my money and I wont be given a refund. This phone has worse audio than a cheap cell phone you buy at Kmart. The sole pupose I bought this phone was for the fact I'm hard of hearing and it failed all aspects for the hard of hearing. Maybe there is something wrong with it but we will never know because they wont allow me to return it even though it is brand new.
not loud. worst quality. extremely expensive for what it is

Summary: all the other bad reviews here are because the unit does not work or some screwup on delivery. my unit is working and arrived in a few days, even selecting free shipping. The company also included a car charger for 'free'... ok, the review. starting with what's good: - big keys - just 4 simple keys on the front when it's closed - turn on quickly what's bad: - earpiece is NOT loud.
Summary: I bought this phone for my elderly mother, who needed a cell phone to use in a nursing home. This phone has very large number keys and a loud ringer. It is fairly easy to use. It is just a phone, nothing else. It is just what she needed. Have not had any problems so far with it. The only thing is it is pretty pricey for just a cell phone, but amazon had the best price.
