Summary: It's a good phone but it's not as tough as it has been described. I accidentally dropped it from 1m or more and nothing happened to it. But once I was getting out of the car and it dropped on the ground (30-40cm) and the screen broke. I could still use it normally but with limited visibility of what's displayed on the screen. After 2 weeks from this the phone does not want to turn on.
Excerpt: Knew it didn't have LTE but didn't expect it to get such poor signal strength all the time. Just migrated from a blackberry and not really impressed with Android either... 1000's of apps... all useless and/or to provide functionality not included in the base OS.
Make it LTE capable and have Windows Phone 8 on it and i'll give it 5 stars!
Excerpt: Solid little phone Lacks LTE and Quad core, but you can dunk it drop it and abuse it. I wish to know if Rogers plans on any software updates. I can't seem to connect to a server to even see if there are any and I haven't seen any software for connecting it to my computer.
Summary: The phone is actually quite rugged but I doubt that it is really waterprouf. I dropped it a few times and every time the back panel became loose or was misplaced. the screen is very good so it has not been scratched given that I put it into my trousers pocket with my keys and coins. the sound quality is good and the mic is sensitive enough. I dropped the phone on the screen side down a few times and it has not been cracked or even scratched.
