The G'z One Type S is not quite what I thought it would be like.
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I was under the impression this phone was Indestructable. I was surprised to find out that after just a year of owning the G'z One Type-S, it was crushed into pieces by a small 2 door car. Similar to an early 90's grand am.
Excerpt: the att phone. Its very useful, mostly expensive! If you have ever had to call your at&t representitive, you probably havent enjoyed it. I have useful information for you! Each time you call the 611 the agent that answers is allowed to give you 250 dollars and 1,000 rollovers! Dont forget that info!! Please dont take your att phone out of the country without alot of thinking first. this could be very expensive.
VERY DURABLE, some design flaws, not a lot of features.
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I purchased this phone because I have two very small children and they seem to always have my phone. I needed something that would last through it all. And this phone has been great for that! However, the hookup to charge the phone has a design flaw and stops working after a time. Also if you are looking for features, this is not the phone. It is also very heavy.
it is my second phone and find that it is all that I need
9 September 2012
Excerpt: Basically a work for out in the field. I am a geologist and need a durable phone which is able to receive/place calls in remote places. Only thing I do not like is the carrying case-plastic window gets dirty and makes it hard to see display. Will admit I use it for phone calls and not all the other features such as texting etc.
Excerpt: Ok, my husband was all for getting this phone because it was supposed to be the most rugged and durable phone out there on the market. Well we had his first phone for about six months and then the seal that seals the screen to the phone went bad and let moisture in the phone. We took it back to verizon and even though we were out of the warranty period they let us swap the phone out since it is supposed to be indestructable.
"Heavy duty construction doesn't make up for problems."
7 December 2010
Pros: Heavy duty construction - this phone will take a beating. Battery doesn't die in the cold. Design, though bulky, works. Excellent speaker quality.
Cons: Phone freezes frequently - battery must be taken out to reset. Sound quality (without speaker on) is poor. Photo quality is poor. Special features (compass, temperature, sunrise/set) are worthless.
Excerpt: I love having a cell phone. i have no idea what i would do without it. If my cell phone dies i feel so alone through out the day and i have no idea what to do with my self. i love texting friends. some people are not phone people or do not like to talk on the phone, so iti s easier for them to text. i love to text but i would rather talk on the phone because it is easier and the way you say things to others does not get taken the wrong way.
Pros: I like the rubberized exterior, it doesn't fall out of my pocket easily. Pictures are pretty decent quality. Good call sound.
Cons: Response on button usage is oh my god slow. Very difficult to text. First phone I have ever seen that can't learn words- VERY frustrating. Picture options are limited. Alarms randomly don't work. Poor ring tone selection. Did i mention it is s_l_o_w?
