"this is a terrible phone, it does not work,"
26 January 2014
Pros: it has a rubberized body
Cons: i had to pull out the battery 2 times a day 15 days after purchase just to try to turn it on or see if i missed any calls. this phone does not receive call, or receive email, or receive messages,or run applications, or do anything. it freezes up
Pros: You can make and receive calls. Call quality is acceptable. Sometimes you can text messages to your friends. The time is very accurate. You can use it to hold down papers on your desk that might otherwise fly away. I hear they are rugged too.
Cons: more often than not you press the screen to do any action ...nothing will happen for a while. Laggy. Applications are sluggish.
Summary: Don't be sold by the ruggedness of this phone. If you're in construction or any field that may require a tough phone, buy a useable phone you won't smash out of frustration along with a protective case. TRUST ME. This was my first smartphone. The ruggedness of the phone was it's highest selling point for me because I have a plethora of hobbies, ranging from automotive, technical, mechanical, information technology, and outdoor activities ranging from clean to dirty.
Summary: I'm giving this phone 1 star only because I can't give it zero. This is my second Casio phone model - I had the G'zOne Boulder some time ago - and even though that phone was also awful, I foolishly gave Casio another try. Big mistake. My third Commando in the past year just died, and now it will simply not charge. The claims of "rugged" are a lie; a 98-year-old grandmother is more rugged.
Summary: You should avoid this phone..Poor signal strenght..My original and the replacement both had the same problem..Alot calls went straight to voice mail due to no signal when evryone else has full bars..Plus programs would crash and could only be fixed by a full reset losing all info on phone..Plus touch screen does not work when its cold outside you will have to warm screen or fingers...Verizon will not help you..you will be on your own...
