Tough phone, impressive features.

Summary: I am an engineer that works in manufacturing. Traditionally my only option was a smart phone that had some big bulky awkward case on it. Dust would destroy it and I have always been tough on phones. I had the old casio commando and liked it but MAN was it slow. With the ability to add 4g its a very nice phone. It is not as nice as a new iphone or galaxy as far as speed, but neither of those are nearly as rugged.
A phone I can absolutely count on to be toughest when the going gets tough.

Summary: Durability is my main criteria. A phone that won't work after being dropped is a tragedy waiting to happen. This is a real working man's cell phone. I no longer have to worry about accidental drops or when I get soaked in the rain. My new casio cell phone is as tough as my Casio watch and as useful as my trusty casio calculator have been for decades. Makes calls, takes pictures, sends texts, plays every app I need, opens every web page I go to.
Excerpt: I'd still have this phone if it didn't get jammed into a machine and broken. That is what it took to damage it. All the times I dropped it never hurt, it was that durable. A high speed buffer jamming it between the spinning pad and the frame was what it took to take it out. Overall, there are better phones with more features but they break so easily. This phone has decent speed, the UI is relatively fast and the wifi and 4G reception is very good.
Pros: Rugged, don't need a screen protector, Call quality and reception is great (WiFi as well), Speed is surprising good., Newer Andiod version, compared to older Commando lets you disable unwanted Verizon Apps
Cons: Camera quality rather poor, Stock battery not too good (upgraded battery lasts much longer)
Summary: My son got this phone because it was supposed to be tough and rugged. He had the phone about three weeks and dropped it from a chair and it fell onto dirt surface, not even asphalt, rocks, etc.
Summary: this phone SUCKS I have one but the screen is cracked this one doesn't work half the time phone freezes doesn't ring half the time i can charge it all night by the time i get to work 12 miles away the damm phone dies
Summary: very nice phone i went from the casio c771 to this and wow what a diffrence faster sleeker better the stock battery life is poor at best but an extended battery is readily available so no problem there love it
great phone great price . try not to buy refurbished

Summary: i heard alot of negative things about the phone in general but to a first time smart phone user like myself. (my last phone was the casio camera hybrid the exilim) after not being able to find a replacement for my last phone i upgraded and im glad i did. sure its internal memory is a bit low and it runs on 3g and not 4 g but who cares? people who spend too much time on their phones do but not me i glance at website and occasionally check my facebook.
Summary: I already had one and decided to get my fiance' one. She has some difficulties due to this phone being different but she is smart phone savvy and will eventually learn how to use everything. We both really like this phone and it will be the only ones we purchase in the future.
