Summary: This is the single worst cell phone I've ever had the misfortune to own - I bought it reflexively without doing any serious product research after wearing out my Casio Boulder - a rugged-duty cell phone favored by those in active, physical lifestyles - firefighters, building contractors, etc, in demanding physical environments, with which I had been well pleased.
Summary: I love this phone. I got it some years ago when they first came out, but when I needed a second phone for business and went to buy another, Verizon no longer had them. I found it on ebay, and was delighted. It can stand up to a lot of hard use. The feature I like best about it--it shows the entire phone number of both incoming and outgoing calls so I can scan them easily, I don't have to scroll through each one to get the complete number.
Summary: I have been using this phone for about 4 years. The original battery still holds a charge for days and days. Takes great pics, records stuff, has cool features like compass, pedometer, etc, I have used it in rain and snow with no problems. I don't know what all the whinning is about. Great phone if you don't need internet and all that other crap.
