Pros: For an unlocked, inexpensive smartphone, it is very impressive, with the ability to download FREE apps from the Google play store app. Setup was a breeze, popped in a SIM card from Puretalk and a 8gb sd micro card and setup was a breeze. Got this for my 10 yr old daughter who wanted an iPhone like dads, Not doing it, she's only 10. Phone will be used for calling mom and dad and friends and for the ever popular texting of friends. Has wi fi, so she can connect at home ...
Cons: For the price of the phone and it's features, no CONS as of yet. Will post another review after a month of use.
Summary: of the dozen or so mobile phones that i've worked with over the years this is by far the quirkiest. as an example, compared to other android phones, this one's default behavior for texting multiple recipients seems to remain tied to the group when one recipient texts you back and wants to engage in one on one text exchange.
Pros: cheap. easy to use w/ prepaid service (e.g. t-mobile in the USA).
Cons: the voice quality during phone calls varies from second to second. i have never experienced a phone that does that. its not just a matter of reception. it seems like the volume increases and decreases from second to second.
Pros: this is an entry level smartphone...has most of what you want. modest camera...fine for emergencies. Very intuitive setup. Apps work well. Radio is excellent. Sound quality is very good. Screen size is acceptable
Cons: if you buy it for the right reasons NONE. you can always get their $200 smartphone later
