Summary: For a first smartphone that is wi fi capable and loaded with useful features.
Pros: For an unlocked, inexpensive smartphone, it is very impressive, with the ability to download FREE apps from the Google play store app. Setup was a breeze, popped in a SIM card from Puretalk and a 8gb sd micro card and setup was a breeze. Got this for my 10 yr old daughter who wanted an iPhone like dads, Not doing it, she's only 10. Phone will be used for calling mom and dad and friends and for the ever popular texting of friends. Has wi fi, so she can connect at home ...
Cons: For the price of the phone and it's features, no CONS as of yet. Will post another review after a month of use.
Summary: i would gladly trade the extra colored back plates for the perception that more time was spent user-testing the phone before taking it to production. the phone is neat for all the functionality built into such a cheap device but it almost isn't a phone when you don't want to use it for a conversation because of the constant volume wavering.
Pros: cheap. easy to use w/ prepaid service (e.g. t-mobile in the USA).
Cons: the voice quality during phone calls varies from second to second. i have never experienced a phone that does that. its not just a matter of reception. it seems like the volume increases and decreases from second to second.
Summary: I can not comment on long term reliability
Pros: this is an entry level smartphone...has most of what you want. modest camera...fine for emergencies. Very intuitive setup. Apps work well. Radio is excellent. Sound quality is very good. Screen size is acceptable
Cons: if you buy it for the right reasons NONE. you can always get their $200 smartphone later
