Excellent phone for use on AT&T or T-Mobile in the USA

HJ Rohland, Amazon
14 July 2014
  • Summary: Great phone. It has since been replaced with an even greater phone, the BlackBerry Z30. However, the Z10 is an excellent phone and I can easily recommend it. The only reason I replaced it with the Z30 is because the Z30 has a bigger screen and battery. Otherwise, I would have been very pleased to stay with the Z10. I knocked off one star because I would have liked a bit longer battery life.

Pretty Decent

Olumide Alabi, Amazon
30 May 2014
  • Summary: This is a pretty decent device. My only annoyance are that: 1. I expected it to the the STL100-2 and it turned out to be the STL100-1 but I can live with that. 2. The headphone jack doesn't work. It doesn't recognize any headphones, including the one that came in the box. ALL these headphones work well with other mobile devices as well as my MacBook.

  • Summary: I had my doubts about this phone even after spending and hour looking up all the information i needed to know about it. And so i bought it and wasnt disappointed! I admit it does have a small learning curve and the fact it required a micro-SIM caused a slight issue for me, but other than that it is great. Once you get the hang of it its a walk in the park.

Nice Phone

David K., Newegg
5 February 2014
  • Summary: Initially I got scared because the sim slot is smaller than my old one but a little research and a pair scissors and now I have a working phone. I know it may sound funny saying its not to big but so many phones any more are just slightly undersized tablets. I can't remember the last time I got a new electronic that didn't come with with instruction in half a dozen languages so I was little shocked it came with only Spanish instructions but no big deal.
  • Pros: Very intuitive Feels good in hand Not to big
  • Cons: Needs a micro sim card 1/4 of storage already taken All paper work in Spanish

Worth the current cost on other sites

Jaime P., Newegg
31 January 2014
  • Summary: it only comes with 16GB, for me thats enough but then again, people want to see more numbers
  • Pros: The phone is very intuitive, and snappy (fast). its still a new OS for many and it is worth trying, it wont hurt. the OS makes you more productive, and can get things done faster, it only takes time (about a week) to get used to the os (just like any other new stuff). People say "app gap" yet they dont even have the least idea that there is no longer any app gap. Netflix, IG, SnapChat, etc, name it, its there. How? install the latest update and you have access to most...
  • Cons: Battery life, but it is to be expected since once you get hooked on the phone you wont let it go and the battery will die fast.... just like any other phone that makes you addicted to it.
