Excerpt: I upgraded to this phone when it first came out because I like blackberry phones in general and the thought of having a blackberry with a touchscreen was appealing to me, I found that to be a mistake. the screen itself is far too touchy and things seem to get clicked on even when I am not trying to click on them. the slide out keyboard is also too small.
Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE FROM THIS SELLER ,I THINK THEY SELLING REFURBISH FOR NEW.I BROUGHT IT FOR MY SON IN TRINIDAD IN JUNE .HE SAID IT GOING TO MUTE ON IT OWN ,. DROPPING CALLS PLUS WHEN HE HOOK IT UP THEIR WAS SOME BODY ELSE NAME ON IT. I PAID $293.87THE SELLER WAs THECELLPHONENERD.
Summary: This phone is by far the worst blackberry ever. I bought this phone brand new only January and it's only April and the phone is giving alot of trouble. It has alot of fancy features i agree but don't be fooled the key feature in any phone is to actually receive a phone call. This phone the signal drops and the SOS lights up red sometimes you would be having a conversation then suddenly a LOUD static noise would be coming from phone and the call will drop.
Cons: Voice command app is terrible; it dials everyone in your phone book except the person you want to call It logs off the network too easily You can't update the time/adjust workdays based on YOUR workweek The touch pad is lame... it never types what you inp
Summary: I've had my Torch 9800 for just over a year now. When I got it, it was BlackBerry's "latest & greatest" device and all of their notorius bugs were supposedly fixed. I am now learning that this was not true. My Torch like every BlackBerry before it is suffering from their notorious deterioration and it is only a year old. This phone has never been dropped, exposed to water or damaged in anyway, yet it has become an unreliable nuisance.
Pros: Not much in the "pro" catagory with BlackBerry
Cons: Browser crashes most of the time, phone freezes, keyboard gets glitchy all requiring "battery pulls" to reset the device. As of the BB world wide service fiasco the phone is crashing randomly, almost daily and rebooting itself. There are very few app makers (no flash support) even remotely entertaining the BB OS (any version) anymore. Their customer service is virtually non existant and no help at all.
Summary: PLZ ppl do not buy... these fones a refurbished fones i bought 4 shame to say some came scratched other missing screws an personal pics on them for ur own good shop somewhere else WIREOVIA is a rip off
Pros: Pros: It's not an Iphone, It's a Rim product (I like supporting Canadian products), speaker phone is clear for both sides of the conversation.
Cons: This thing is sloooowwwwww. In the beginning it was ok and functioned in a manner that was just good enough. Now, It's turned into an absolutely useless paperweight. It drops calls 8 out of 10 times, doesn't send emails half the time, doesn't send texts h
