Excerpt: owned the blackberry 9550 storm 2 , and this storm series (storm 1 and storm 2 lineup) seems to be the worst bb series ever made . i quickly moved to samsung vibrant and im glad i did that . the bb storm 1 and storm 2 touch screens are a pain to use , you actually have to press the screen to assign a command , the mp3 player is having bugs even when updated to the latest version , no multi touch for multi media or web browser , and the swipe for pictures in the gallery...
Pros: good sounds for video and audio playback, good call quality, nice colors on the screen
Cons: bad software with bugs on mp3 player, stuck on bb os 5 forever, no multi touch on web browser or on pictures, badly designed multi media gallery, storm 1 & 2 touch screens needs to be pressed as physical buttons which is annoying, bad battery life, very very slow web browser for html pages, phone lags sometimes very badly
Summary: "Received the Storm 2 but I am disapointed. The phone drops calls. I have lost 8 connections in two weeks. I am on Vodaphone provider. The signal is weak in many cases. Battery life is poor lasting only one day when using it just as a phone. Also charging with the mini USB is slow. If you are a business user you will need a spare battery to carry with you. On one occasion the phone battery run down and then showed the battery as not charging.
Summary: "I had the storm 2 9550... when I bought it I expected a really contender to the 3GS , but it was little disappointing since the battery drained very very fast "1 day max" every time the phone hangs you have to bring-out the battery & restart the phone & this could take 5-10 minutes depending on your network provider if BB service is activated , it feels good concerning the weight, stylish & grip of the phone , touch screen is nice even I liked it better than I phone...
Summary: I have literally just opened this item and obvs it has no charge in it but usually these kind of products SHOULD come with a charger, case or screen protectors this came with none! it was badly packaged. I havent even turned it on yet so thats why i ave 3 stars.
Summary: I have had this phone since April 2010 and I cannot wait until I can change it in April 2012. It was fine for about about 5 months, but I have had so many problems with the screen and it switches itself off whenever it likes. I know of many other people who have experienced similar. I really like the format and layout of the phone, it is easy to use when it works and it looks good. I have not been put off Blackberry, I just wish I had the Torch instead!
Summary: Well what can i say, I'm 17, i wanted this phone and was disappointed. it's a heavy bulky phone and not the simplest to use. it does take quite a bit of getting used to. Comparing it to the iPhone 3Gs is just not worth it, the iPhone beats it on almost everything. the only thing that the blackberry is better for is BBM (blackberry messenger) and even than it's not really worth it. i do like my phone and it does the job.
