Excerpt: This phone was aweful. I couldnt wait to get rid of it. I will never buy a blackberry again. The inteface lagged and it constantly locked up. I was always rebooting. Coverage was spotty... may have partially been verizons network as well.
Excerpt: Really not much to say that is different than the others. GREAT phone initially. But then it freezes...a LOT. I mean really all the time. I gone through the random steps people swear by, but nothing makes it better. I have done battery pulls (do them almost daily now just to get it out of a frozen state), updated software, removed pretty much every app, all pictures, etc. My memory supposedly has tons of free space so obviously that's not the problem.
Looks great but the software is too far behind the hardware

Excerpt: I was in such a rush to get this phone and I shoud have heeded the warnings. The software is not up to snuff with the hardware. I have to continuously take the battery out to do the slowest reboot. Even after downloading new software nothing improves, the keyboard freezes and the lines split and double, the response time is slower than I have patience for. I checked out the new tour and which I had waited.
Excerpt: This phone is ok. It functions ok untill you start using the memory of the phone or downloading things. Once you start that the phone freezes constantly. I went through 4 of these in 4 3 months because there were just so many problems with them. The camera is great. Takes very clear pictures and has an amazing night time flash. The speaker is fairly loud, and sounds ok when listening to music. Overall the phone is good, but the Blackberry storm 2 is way better.
Excerpt: I have had the blackberry storm for a while now and have had to have it replaced five times. I do't like the fact that you have to take the battery out the back every couple of days to reboot the device. It is slow and they bog you down with so much stuff that you don't want or need when you first get it, also some of the stuff they give you that you want to get rid of you cant delete.
Excerpt: When it first came out, this phone seemed to hold a lot of promise. Now that I've had it for about 2 years, it's just not keeping up with all of the latest technology now. It had a lot of times where the network froze and even I've had days where the whole phone froze and I had to manually reboot the phone (by taking the battery out and putting it back).
Excerpt: This was a huge upgrade from my last phone, this was my first smartphone. I was very impressed with the screen quality and the ability to click the screen like a button. I was dubious about a touchscreen, when using to type. But I loved the phone when I got it. I quickly found a flaw in the design of the phone's screen. After only a month of use, I started to see dust get under the screen. A couple months after that, there was a substantial amount of dust under it.
Excerpt: The Blackberry Storm 9530 was my first smartpone and first experience with a Blackberry. At first, loved it. It was a good size, had a lot of features, and the touch screen was great. Not long after owning it, I discovered there was something wrong with the camera. The lens had a scratch on it so everyone picture I took had a large black line on it. They replaced it and I thought I was good to go. A few months later, it started freezing up a lot.
Excerpt: I love my BlackBerry, but it took me a while to love it. You have to touch the screen fairly hard to get an input. It really isn't a "touch screen".. It's more like a "press a little harder screen." Also, the copy and paste isn't that good either. It takes a while to select the text you want to copy, paste, or cut. Now, it is very convenient because it allows you to tap into the online world...
The New Blackberry Storm, Not Quite The Perfect Storm
9 September 2012
Excerpt: A couple of months ago, I bought the brand new Blackberry Storm 9530, a couple weeks after it was released. It was "the" phone. It's new clicking touch technology really impressed the market, of course, me being one of it. the new Storm seemed like the perfect storm for me. I purchased this phone with the carrier Telus. I really wanted the phone but I could only get it under two conditions; on a new contact, and a not return policy.
