Excerpt: I got this phone shortly after it came out, thinking a new Blackberry phone would live up to Blackberry's other wise good reputation. Buying the "first generation" new Blackberry Storm was a big mistake. The phone is very slow, it often freezes. Touch/click screen is difficult to navigate almost making having a touchscreen feature pointless. These are a few among many dissapointments with the Blackberry Storm. My experience is so bad that I am hesitant to ever go...
After 2+ years, I've learned a lot about this phone.

Excerpt: First off, I was extremely excited about this phone when I first heard it was coming to Verizon. A touch screen that behaved like a button was unheard of. For the Verizon network to have something that was comparable to the iPhone was a must. I actually ordered this phone the second it was available to order. So I've had it for a long time now.
Excerpt: The Blackberry Storm 9530 is a total rip off. Purchasing one means spending a lot of money on a phone that is not built to last. My boyfriend and had one of those insurance plans for cellular phones for our Blackberry Storm 9530 and we wound up replacing it 6 times over the course of a year because the Blackberry Storms kept malfunctioning.
Excerpt: I have had 2 blackberry phones already and I was so optimistic about this one but its just a piece of you know what. I have had a pearl and a bold and this is my boyfriend's phone so I am constantly having to be on it or Mostly fix it .... It is always freezing, and running slow, having every problem you can think of including poor reception and voice quality. He has to use it on loud speaker/speaker phone just to be heard on it.
Excerpt: I think this is one of the worst purchases I've made in the past few years. It's almost as if Blackberry was in such a rush to get a full touchscreen phone out to the public that they "modded" their operating system instead of re-designing it with touchscreen in mind. The device itself was an awesome concept; big screen, small and fits the hand well, first of it's kind click touchscreen all bundled with the blackberry service which is unbeatable .
BlackBerry Storm is the worst phone I've ever had!

Excerpt: I bought this phone two years ago when it first came out and I have to say that it is the worst phone I have ever used. It lagged so much. Sometimes it would take it 30 seconds to move from screen to screen. It would be terrible if I really had to make an emergency call. It is in no way shape or form anywhere in comparison to the iphone. The technology is just so far past this phone. I love blackberry phones though for their e-mail capability and I need the fast...
Excerpt: The Storm is a horrible cell phone. It locks up daily and is very poor phone. If you are thinking of buying this phone because you think it's like the iphone please don't. The iphone is much better and this phone doesn't even come close.
Excerpt: I have had the Blackberry Storm model 9530 for some time now, and am disappointed completely. Blackberry is becoming less and less relevant in the cell phone market and the reason has to do with an inferior product, at least with this one in particular. I am not aware if the problem with the touch screen was addressed in the case of the Blackberry Storm 2, but if you are thinking of purchasing this phone, even at a heavily discounted price, as I did, I warn you not to.
Excerpt: I thought this phone was the bomb back then about 2 and 1/2 years ago. Boy was I wrong, the internet was so slow and I was never able to do any work on it except maybe a little bit of email. The video quality is horrible and blurry and it was impossible to watch videos on that phone without getting a headache. I this the technology is so outdated and it is so much inferior to the other Smartphones that are out there.
Excerpt: I usually try to buy the newest phones that are out. So as soon as I saw this one I had to have it. It worked great for the first week or so, and then it became so slow that using it is practically impossible. I havent downloaded a bunch of stuff (or anything at all) and yet I have to reset it at least every few hours. The battery is horrible (having to charge it after 10 hours after not using it at all day is not good).
