  • Excerpt: It supports accelerometer for screen rotation. it is 3G ready, but video calling is a bit of a problem because there is no secondary camera. The 3.2 megapixel AF camera comes with a single LED for a flash and is located at the back. the Storm has a microSD card slot . Features we can still swipe our finger over the screen for navigation and this is one of the better features of this handset. ‘Documents to Go’ is the software used to support Word, Excel and Power Point.

  • Excerpt: During late 2008, I had much interest in getting a new phone, preferably of PDA type. I noticed some major brand names as the Moto Q and the Apple IPHONE, but wanted something better, which had the latest technology quips and would last longer. Into late November there was much Hype around for the release of the Blackberry storm . Analysts put out forward expectations that this Storm would be a close contender to the well noted Apple IPHONE.

  • Excerpt: The much-anticipated and hyped Blackberry Storm from RIM has finally been released, but the first touch screen smartphone from the company has been met with mixed reactions. I must admit I’ve never used a Blackberry before so I cannot compare between models, but the Storm seems to be an excellent device, a comprehensive PDA, cellular phone and mini-computer all rolled into one slick touch screen device.

  • Excerpt: I have not really caught on to the whole Blackberry revolution. I was given a Blackberry Pearl for work, which I have to admit has caused me more stress than good as I am constantly tapped into work and find myself reading emails at all hours! But I have to admit that I was very curious about the Blackberry Storm and was keen to try one out especially seeing as I now also own a Samsung Tocco and think that it is an excellent touch-screen mobile phone .

  • Excerpt: I recently aquired this phone, i traded my rather beaten HTC Hero for it about a week ago. After hearing people rave about blackberry for several years, and having never even touched one, i felt the bite of curiosity at my ankle, i had to try one out. There are many in the range, pretty much all offering the familiar qwerty keyboard layout, and being quite wide in the process.

  • Excerpt: Blackberry Storm is the touch-screen version of the Blackberry smart phones. It’s called the iphone killer. I have only used this Storm 9500 model for about 6 months because I did not think it was good enough to ‘kill’ the iphones. First of all, the internal ram is very low which makes the phone run very slow. Compared to iphone 3G (3GS was not released at the time), iphone was very much smoother and with better graphic display as well.

  • Excerpt: I have seen a lot of cellular phone over my working career from the Nokia’s to the new HTC phones. Thankfully I am very pleased with the Blackberry Storm . Not only is it the blackberry with the biggest screen, it also features the world’s first and possibly only clickable touch screen. This provides for much more precision when writing e-mails or notes and also gives a sense of depth in the device. It is very satisfying, easy but also pretty handy.
