Summary: After returning 4 of thes Q10 phones to AT &T in 2 months, I've decided to leave blackberry after over 15 years. The keyboards on 3 of the Q10s repeated, and the screens on all 4 of them did not function properly. The screen would randomly go dark and/or unresponsive. Very sad to leave bberry, and the physical keyboard which I have preferred for so many years. I much prefer a real keyboard, but i need my phone to actually work.
Summary: I am counting the days until my contract expires and I can trade in the Q10. It is the clumsiest most poorly designed smartphone on the market IMHO. It will not automatically dial the voice mail (there is supposedly a software update to fix that that will hopefully arrive before the company goes out of business). If you do not carry it in a holster, the only way to answer a call is with a "pull down" - which can be very awkward and hit-or-miss.
Summary: I Like the aesthetics of the device however bb 10 is very bad. and i am not basing this review on apps availability. i think its a new operating system and its okay to have few apps. I am fine with that. Keeping that in mind, my conclusion is that blackberry is not what it used to be. the operating system is buggy and full of micro lags which annoys me so much. the settings menu is extremely laggy. if you open to many apps it starts to lag even more.
Summary: The worst mobile experience ever. Blackberry sorry to say its over. I was a hard core fan, and then your company fell asleep. Now I would not give this phone away for free. The only thing it did was make good phone calls. ATT did its job when I had to switch back to my Iphone.
Summary: Tried to initiate the use of the bb but could not go beyond the agreement page. Called the seller directly, the person who received the call tried to make a transfer to another staff but could not make it. That was the last l heard from them Had to go to AT&T store , got stuck in same page. Was directed to AT&T service centre where some repair was made. I was not told what the problem was. I have since ordered the Nokia lumia 920 which is great.
Summary: With Q10 & Z10 BlackBerry stopped to support BlackBerry mail accounts (instantemail-s), the most secure email client so far. And they are dead silent about this in their marketing & communication. I gave back my new Q10 after learning about it from the BB hotline support. They should be more open about it. Even the shop attendants would not know this. I keep using my old 9810 Torch, which still runs instantemail services.
Summary: I have been a blackberry user since the old blue ones you could run over with a truck. I held out high hopes for the q10 but blackberry has ruined it. By taking away the navigation buttons from the keypad is it essentially a full touchscreen phone. And it doesnt work well. It is hard to answer, nearly impossible to reject a call. Honestly .. it's just junk. which is what all the real reviews have said. I sent mine back, I am sure many of you did as well.
Summary: I purchased the Q10 and my love affair with the Q10 lasted less than 24 hours. I felt like I was using a device that was created around the late 90's. The most basic of tasks are incredibly complicated to accomplish. I does not sync with iCloud at all. The calendar is way to small unless you have bionic vision. I do believe that Blackberries time has come and the grim reeper is knocking on the companies door. RIP Blackberry.
Summary: First, let me say after a week with this phone it was returned. A long time Blackberry owner, I figured this brought the addition of touch screen ease of use for apps. Unspoken was the change in how this blackberry handles email. IF YOU DELETE AN EMAIL ON THIS HAND HELD, IT AUTOMATICALLY DELETES FROM YOUR SERVER. Go figure. If you briefly check emails on your phone and delete, thinking you'll handle it back at the office, forget it. It won't be there.
Cons: email options stink , menu hard to reach , poor battery time
