Summary: This phone is quite unique in its category. It's a blackberry and also a flip phone and unlike many others can also handle wifi for data. Its definitely not a replacement for a regular smart phone. It has a good feature set and a great keyboard. The main issue with this phone is that it's not particularly fast even for relatively simple tasks. The camera is also not on par. If you want a flip style phone with a unique look and feature set this is a good contender.
Summary: I use this cell phone .thinki g it will be a good one .i have att&t which is a good company.never ever had a problem.i switch cell phones .walla.i lost signal 5 times drop the call also.not sure if it was a defective one.ho well.very disappointed .i will not buy another one again.
Summary: I purchased this to replace my Mom's cell that was marketed towards the elderly. I thought she'd like it for the one button calling and ease of use, but she found it wasn't easy in the ways that she needed. I saw this and thought at the least it's attractive. I was concerned about the scroll, but it really works well for her as she doesn't have to use any effort to push anything.
Summary: This flip has all the features of the larger phones, unfortunately the phone delivered to me does not make outgoing calls. I took the phone to my service provider, they replaced sim card, this didn't help. My second defective online purchase of a Blackberry phone.
Excerpt: Blackberry Pearl 8220 is good in size. Easy to use menu. But complicated in typing. Sometimes I text my friends or family and the keypad is hard to understand. More when you are typing in another language. The number in the keypad are in different position of other regular phones so is hard for me to look for letters and change them to number in this phone. Sometimes didnt want to work. The window goes black and didnt do nothing at all.
Excerpt: I changed wireless providers and I took the opportunity to switch to a smart-phone. I chose the BlackBerry Pearl Flip because it was only $19. I really should have listened to the voice in my head saying 'you get what you pay for' because it was totally true in this case! I am very disappointed in the quality of this phone. I constantly have problems with it freezing. The flip design isn't the best for a smart-phone because there isn't enough room for a full keyboard.
Excerpt: I have had my Blackberry Pearl Flip for over a year now. My favortie thing about it is that it is a flip phone. I like not having to worry about who I may be calling because I forgot to lock my phone. It is also very easy to use. The keys are big enough that typing is very easy. It has a QWERTY style key pad which took me a little time to get used to, but once I did, I really liked it.
Summary: The product is a Blackberry Pearl 8220 Flip Phone. and Even though the phone wasnt great, the Seller did refund. Also I just want to mention that the phone was very nice looking no scratches on it ...shame it didnt work well and wasnt an english version.. I would have kept this phone.
