Summary: I liked the phone and it's features, but it wouldn't pair with my Bluetooth headset, wouldn't connect with my Gmail account-kept showing a message that the "certificate couldn't be trusted" (REALLY!?! GMAIL?!?), and kept showing message that the memory card had errors or was inserted wrong.
Summary: 3 out of 5 Some good some bad, September 2, 2010 By ccivish "I renewed my T-Mobile membership to get the Blackberry 8220 Pearl Flip. It was an elegantly designed phone, and aesthetics is important to me.
Summary: Got my phone from a provider; I can't comment on any issues you may have purchasing the unlocked phone from Newegg. I've had it for a year and am mostly satisfied with it as a phone and SMS device.
Pros: -Partial-QWERTY keyboard -Good predictive text -Excellent E-mail device -Good Outlook integration -Great form factor -Wi-Fi support works great on a fast connection
Cons: -Slow CPU -Prone to dropping calls on Rogers network in Winnipeg -Camera lens prone to collecting pocket lint -Nearly useless for browsing full versions of sites
Summary: A few improvements could be made to the Operational System, like the option to dowload SMS messages, to assign an especific ring tone to all contacts at once, to make voice notes with the flip closed (yes, you have to keep the flip opened while recording voice notes)...
Summary: i have been u sing this phone for atleast one month, trust me its nice and impresive though it has got the poorest battery i have ever seen in life. Even sending sms can make the battery drop by 40% then when it comes to listening to music, its worse .
