Excerpt: i used to have this phone for a year, and it sucked. we had t mobile service. we ended up returning the phone a total of 7 times before i switched to a diff. brand. the scroll button fell out, yje wi fi didnt work the battery life is horriable and it turns off randomly.
Excerpt: Pros: quad-band global phone if you travel a lot. High resolution screen. Cons: keys are unpredictably laggy. Software is not user friendly. You have to press half a dozen times to get the timer/alarm set. Screen freezes during cold winter time. Battery only lasts for one day after a little over 1-year very light use. I have to carry the charger everywhere I go. This is my first blackberry and also the last one.
Excerpt: I am not to happy with this phone i have already had three of these phones the first two flipped out within the first fifteen days that i had them but this one has been ok. I dont like to text on it and i dont like everytime i turn around its telling me a i have a new message i thinking maybe getting another phone its just not for me

Excerpt: Less than a year ago, I bought the Pearl Flip to replace my Pearl 8110 (bar). I loved the Pearl but I had the habit of always but-dialing because I like to keep my phone in my jeans pocket, so I thought that the flip would solve my problem. I have not been happy with this phone since I bought it. The phone itself is cheaply made - especially the back part you take off to get to the battery.
Excerpt: The Blackberry Pearl 8220 Flip phone does not live up to the hype. I was looking for a phone that could keep track of my schedule, e-mail, and calendar and would sync with my MacBook. I was interested in a touch screen phone. I described my requirements to the customer service representative who told me that the touch screen was not consistent and that I should try this phone. She assured me that it had all the capeabilities I was looking for. Boy was she wrong.
Pros: 1. Wifi calling is a great feature 2. Syncing to MS Outlook is easy 3. Calendar is full featured and easy to use 4. Phone is light and ergonomically designed
Cons: 1. Very unreliable - I am on my 5th phone (in 16 months), my wife is on her second, and it is dying 2. Calls are frequently dropped, on both mobile network and wifi 3. Battery life is not too great 4. Frequent Bluetooth failure
Summary: Really awkward to type on... Some shortcuts (like R to reply) did not seem to work. The BBM version seemed like the one Fred and Wilma would use. Camera was unbelievably lousy, the flash would flash but picture came out pitch black. Assuming you have perfect lighting picture it still looked like a tube, whose the rabbit ears needs adjusting. If you have a lifetime supply of Aleve, then you can buy this phone; if you don't, save yourself the headache.
"This is the worst phone our family has ever owned!"

Pros: None as it never worked properly.
Cons: From the day we got this phone, it has never worked properly. We sent it back twice and are still waiting for the "repairs". Blackberry doesn't stand behind it products, so if you need to by an unlocked phone, you're simply out of luck.
