Summary: I bought this as my first ........and only blackberry, and I had problems from the start to the finish, i thought I was bad lucky to get a bad one, only to realise that everyone I know with the same model had the very same problems. Not a good buy at all!!!!
Summary: Description clearly says this phone is unclocked. Mine was locked into AT&T. The roller ball didn't work, the power cord was broken and it didn't come with a battery. What are these people thinking?
Excerpt: i used to have this phone for a year, and it sucked. we had t mobile service. we ended up returning the phone a total of 7 times before i switched to a diff. brand. the scroll button fell out, yje wi fi didnt work the battery life is horriable and it turns off randomly.
Excerpt: Pros: quad-band global phone if you travel a lot. High resolution screen. Cons: keys are unpredictably laggy. Software is not user friendly. You have to press half a dozen times to get the timer/alarm set. Screen freezes during cold winter time. Battery only lasts for one day after a little over 1-year very light use. I have to carry the charger everywhere I go. This is my first blackberry and also the last one.
Excerpt: I am not to happy with this phone i have already had three of these phones the first two flipped out within the first fifteen days that i had them but this one has been ok. I dont like to text on it and i dont like everytime i turn around its telling me a i have a new message i thinking maybe getting another phone its just not for me
Excerpt: The Blackberry Pearl 8220 Flip phone does not live up to the hype. I was looking for a phone that could keep track of my schedule, e-mail, and calendar and would sync with my MacBook. I was interested in a touch screen phone. I described my requirements to the customer service representative who told me that the touch screen was not consistent and that I should try this phone. She assured me that it had all the capeabilities I was looking for. Boy was she wrong.
This phone stinks - I should have kept my Pearl 8110

Excerpt: Less than a year ago, I bought the Pearl Flip to replace my Pearl 8110 (bar). I loved the Pearl but I had the habit of always but-dialing because I like to keep my phone in my jeans pocket, so I thought that the flip would solve my problem. I have not been happy with this phone since I bought it. The phone itself is cheaply made - especially the back part you take off to get to the battery.
