BlackBerry 3G 9105 Review: In Depth

Recombu
4 March 2011
  • Conclusion: We liked the Pearl 3G a lot. That said, if you’re going to be doing any kind of lengthy typing on your handset, we’d probably point you in the direction of the BlackBerry Bold 9700, if only for its fabulous Qwerty keyboard. But for anyone else, the BlackBerry Pearl 3G is a smart little phone, which could prove the perfect handset for many tech-savvy people who want a dash of the hardcore business BlackBerry with a dollop of playful day-off BlackBerry.

RIM BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9105, super-slim smartphone

iTnews Australia
22 September 2010
  • Excerpt: RIM has been trying to shake off its image as a purveyor of business handsets for boardroom executives and city workers for a while now, and the BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9105 is its latest move. The form factor isn’t a new one for BlackBerry, but the keyboard design is. Previous Pearls used a 20-key Qwerty layout with two letters per key. This one adopts a more conventional 12-key numeric layout.
