Excerpt: Let me just say maybe it's me, but I was expecting a lot more. I recently flew an airline, joined their frequently flyer program. A few months later, I received an offer from them for a free Blackberry. They were offering it threw AT&T, since they were my carrier, it wasn't a big deal. I didn't know much about Blackberry's , except that it seemed like a lot of people had one. So given the fact that it wasn't going to cost me anything I thought what the heck.
Excerpt: I thouroughly enjoyed my Pearl, I think the interface is wonderful and super easy to use. The fact that it is not actually a full keyboard never bothered me . . . it was actually kind of nice since i could still text with one hand. However after only 7 months it stopped charging and then a week later the entire charging port fell apart inside the phone. The deductable was more than the phone cost me and trying to contact the company was a waste of time.
Excerpt: The Blackberry Pearl 8130 is a nice phone and has some good features. The phone itself is what I have problems with. -First off whenever I take a picture it consumes so much of the cell phones energy I can not recieve text messages from anyone. For some reason the email still works and I can still text out. -Second is phone turns on and off by it self sometimes for no good reason at all.
Excerpt: I was SSSOOO excited to get my new blackberry pearl 4 months ago. At first, so far so good, but give it a while. As a school teacher, I am not able to always answer my phone. I rely on my missed call log, text, etc. in case I miss the phone. Even after purchasing a new media card (twice, 5GB ($60) and 1GB ($35), having my phone replaced after the speaker stopped working, while I was out of town, and a number of other "memory" problems, I am just NOT satisfied.
