Excerpt: Do not buy this model - I had to go through three of them in four months before Verizon allowed me upgrade to the Bold. The Bold is outstanding. The Curve would shut off intermittently whenever it wanted. It would reboot and take 2-3 minutes to come back on again and would reset all settings without asking. An absolute nightmare.
"It sucks. Don't even think about getting an RIM product"

Pros: I liked the keyboard before it stopped working.
Cons: I've had five 8330s. 1. The keyboard stopped working. 2. The phone would not stay on for more than 10 mins at a time. 3. The trackball fell out. 4. The software was deleted due to excessive password attempts. 5. The keyboard stopped working AGAIN.
Pros: Strong phone that can take a beating. Good battery life. Good camera.
Cons: OS froze constantly and always restarted. Boot up takes 10 minutes. Theres a 5-10 second delay when you try to answer a phone call and i missed a lot of calls because of it. Makes a horrible noise for the other person at first if you answer in time.
Pros: Screen is good size, not as big as the Touch/Storm/iPhone, but adequate.
Cons: Slow & unresponsive. GPS usually works for only 10 minutes then gets lost. Keyboard small and quirky - numeric fields often end up with letters such as 'z' instead of '7', '5' likes to show up as 'd'. Same thing for text - the number shows up.
Excerpt: my husbnad has this phone and i think I use it more then him... Im always the one that has to check his text messages and set his alarms and check a certain website when hes driving. I must say that I absolutly hate it. that stupid little ball that you use to move to different apps drives me crazy. I cant ever get it to move to where I want it to go and it is like its stuck on one thing. Also when the phones battery dies it takes forever to actually turn back on.
Cons: Calendar appointment details and tasks are truncated after 1 page!! Email, browser, calendar, and tasks are in plain text. The memory card cannot store email, tasks, web content, or contact info -- only mp3s, pics, and files you copy from your pc.
No service inside my own apartment. Terrible quality of service

Excerpt: I have to go outside to make or receive calls. This is not just the Blackberry. I've had the SAME problem with every Sprint phone I've had. Going outside is not a huge deal in the Summer. However, I freeze my heiny off in the Winter.
Excerpt: it was a great phone in the beginning but after a couplr months the ball(cursor) ends up not working. This has happened on 3 different phones and lots of friends have had the same problem. Also, you will be typing and the phone will just freeze up for 7 seconds. i have only had this phone for 3 months and is doing it ALL the time!
