BlackBerry 9300; a smart-value phone
4 June 2011
Summary: It was more or less a case of "Is this it?" the first time I held my BlackBerry. It is unusually light and comfortable for a device that packs so many great features, and all for a relative fraction of the supposed daddy of mobile communication, the iPhone. Prior to receiving this BlackBerry 9300, I did indeed own Apples flagship device and decided not to re-new my contract purely for cost purposes.
Excerpt: "...easy to text, go on blackberry messenger etc. The trackpad is very nice and pretty responsive, having Blackberry 6 OS is very nice feature on the device and is I prefer it to all other Blackberry's.The camera is okay, its only 2mp so it is good if you don't like taking photos, I am inspiring to be a photographer and love taking photos, but the rest of the phone makes up for the camera!! All in all, it's a quite quick on the 3G & on Wi-Fi. Definitely ...
Pros: Keypad makes it easy to type, takes good pictures, fast

Excerpt: "Black Berry Curve 3G 9300 may be one of the good phone some people may vouch for, but I think it has only got all those features that any new generation Black Berry offers. BBM is revolutionary. Black Berry is a small portable Office you can carry any where with you. But when it comes to taking pictures, it just does not provide the quality that is available in the market. The picture quality leaves a lot to be desired. The flash is not there when ...
Excerpt: "...I would be sticking with Blackberry even though there is an array of mobile phones on the market it really is hard to know what is right for you. At the time I was looking for my new Blackberry I was underside whether to upgrade to another Curve or go for a Bold 9780, which is what my husband currently has. In the end and due to price I went for Blackberry Curve 3G 9300. '''*What are the main features of 9300?*''' Although I haven’t had a major ...
Pros: Everything, I love this phone
Cons: No camera flash, full camera zoon isn't good quality
Excerpt: "...when I purchased it. The Blackberry Curve is very elegant and a very attractive looking phone. The keypad on the phone is set out just like a keyboard on a computer. I find this simple to use but some may find it hard. ( my dad got a Blackberry and sold it the next week because he just couldn't work it! ) The keys are also quite small so I think if you don't like little fiddly things, don't go for this. The Blackberry also has a scroll button ...
Pretty disappointing experience of my first blackberry :(

Excerpt: "I bought this blackberry a few months ago, hoping that it would live up to the hype blackberries have been recieveing recently..Upon unboxing it looked great, and came preinstalled with the blackberry OS5. I played with the phone for about an hour then hooked it up via USB and updated to the lastest firmware, "Blackberry OS6" The phone from day one has been victim of constant problems, it resets itself a few times a week, occasionally doing this ...
Pros: BBM, email push, looks nice . . . thats about it unfortunately
Blackberry Curve 9300: the de facto entry-level smartphone?
11 May 2011
Excerpt: If you are looking for a full featured, cost effective smartphone, with excellent connectivity and communication features, the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 deserves some serious consideration.
Pros: Dim the lights, cut the elevator music and fade in some syncopated beats and staccato synthesizers. It's an amazing communications device. Despite a relatively small gaming catalogue, you have access to 10 000+ free and paid apps from BlackBerry App World. Other noteworthy hardware features inclu...
Cons: With a 2MP camera without autofocus or flash, the Curve 3G is not a camera or video phone. The speakers on the Curve 3G are disappointing There are smartphones with better displays. The Curve 3G comes with BlackBerry OS 5 preloaded, and that means that the stock web browsing experience is sub-par.
Excerpt: "The Blackberry Curve 9300 3G is a great looking phone and has very quick internet when in the correct areas for internet. The screen is very good and has a range of colours and the camera is not the best for a smart phone, the screen scratches very easily, eg if left in pocket with keys, it would come out of your pocket looking very poor and covered in scrathes. The keypad is sometimes irresponsive aswell as the lock button on the left taking appox ...
Excerpt: "in my opinion this phone is sexy and also unlike any other make of phone i've ever owned. for social networking i think this phone is quick and easy and with bb messenger staying in touch could not be easier. i have never enjoyed texting as much as i do on this phone, being able to send by simply hitting enter! it has a vast amount of apps and my emails to hand. picture quality is great, however the only downside being the menu being a bit complicated ...
Excerpt: "The Blackberry Curve 3G 9300 has to be the best Blackberry Curve on the market at the present time! The looks of the Blackberry Curve looks much better then the other Curve's on the market with the dimpled back cover and the stylish chrome edges. The feeling of the phone isn't the best feeling phone i've ever had, it fits really well in my hand but it feels cheap and makes creaking noises. It isn't just me, my friend with the exact same phone has ...
Pros: Looks, 3G connection
Cons: Very bad bettery life, little more expensive then other Curve's
