The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is a mobile phone with 3G network support and features an optical trackpad, full QWERTY keyboard, simultaneous voice and data function, Email and text messaging, BlackBerry® Messenger, Instant Messaging, a browser, camera and video recording and Wi-Fi® connectivity. It also features a GPS, media player, organizer, Bluetooth® and tethered modem. The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 measures 4.29 inches x 2.36 inches x 0.55 inches and weighs 3.7 ounces.

Th BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is a tri-band UMTS (800/850)/1900/2100 MHz or 900/1700/2100 MHz (depending on network availability), Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz mobile phone. It features a 320x240 pixel color display with transmissive TFT LCD panel and adjustable font size. It displays over 65,000 colors. The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 also features a 2.0 MP camera, fixed focus and supports video recording. It is powered by a 1150mAHr removable/rechargeable lithium-ion cell that provides users with up to up to 19 days (GSM)/ 14.5 days (UMTS) of standby time and up to 4.5 hours (GSM)/5.5 hours (UMTS) of talk time. It also provides users with up to 29 hours of music playback time. The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 comes with BlackBerry® Maps for navigation purposes. Other features include a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, integrated speaker and microphone, Bluetooth connectivity, integrated hands-free speakerphone, M3, T3 Rating for hearing aids (PDF), a Media Player that supports MPEG4, H.263, H.264 and WMV9 video format; MP3, AMR-NB, AAC-LC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, Flac, Ogg Vorbis audio format; tone, vibrate, on-screen or LED indicator ringtones, 32 Polyphonic Ringtones - MIDI, MP3; 256 MB flash memory/256 MB SDRAM, support for microSD card, password protection and keyboard lock.
