Excerpt: I think the Blackberry Bold is okayy... ive owned it for close to a year now and i have face quite a few technical problems...I tends to freeze A LOT... if your expecting a phone that you can reliy on that it wont freeze then a blackberry isnt for you. Another problem that i deal with is it randomly shuts off. Out of the blue when im in the middle of a phone call it will just turn off. Its the most random thing everrrr... another bad thing to the blackberry is the keys..
Excerpt: It's kind of an expensive phone for the little features it has. The internet is slower than the 3g phones out there today. The display is pretty small making it more difficult to browse the web. Also the app selection is pretty poor. It does have a really long battery life which is nice for longer browsing. It also has a great camera on it for such a small phone. I do like how the email is pushed to my phone which makes it really convenient for a college students.
Excerpt: I need a cell phone that is easy to use. One where I don't need to read the instruction manual just to turn it on. This phone is that for me. Simple to use and affordable. The camera takes amazing pictures which I can then easily email or text to others and it hasn't dropped a call yet.
Excerpt: This is an excellent cellular device that offers many cool features, and runs super smoothly... AT FIRST! About a month after I bought this phone, little problems started happening. It started shutting off on its on, freezing, and thinking headphones were plugged in when they were not. Another bad thing about this phone is the extremely poor selection of apps. Also, to buy an app you are required to have a pay pal account.
Excerpt: I bought the Blackberry Bold smartphone cell phone to use for work and to increase my functionality. Overall, I think that this was a good buy. It has a lot of functionality and useful applications, but this is mostly a business phone. I use it for my email, and it easily supports multiple email accounts through different email clients. It is also great for text and picture messaging and keeps your messages threaded.
Excerpt: I had this blackberry for over a year and it was very problematic. I lost the clock application and was never able to find it. Then I lost the settings application and could never make it work properly . I upgraded to the Torch and I love the torch!
Pros: Got the phone at a great low sale price with free shipping. The deal was not advertised in the "daily deals" section or on the main page and the price only lasted 48hrs. Good blackberry does most things well. Bold keyboard is much better then that of the curve. Feels great in hand, good weight, build quality.
Cons: In my excitement to buy at such a low price I overlooked that this was a T-Mobile branded Bold, not At&T (it is stated in the product details) Thus, this model does not support the 3g frequency of my provider and is a little slow transferring data as a result - almost unbearably slow!
