Excerpt: My sister bought her Blackberry in the States a couple of months ago. There were stores selling it here in the Philippines but it was cheaper to buy in the States. The World Edition works in the Philippines, unlike what other people are ranting about. I really don’t understand why theirs don’t work, but my sister’s Blackberry works just fine.
Excerpt: I purchased this phone prior to its release, based on the ads. I paid $500.00 for this device from Sprint. I loved the look, it is sleek and modern but that is where it ends. The phone doesn't have a camera and no sound. You have to purchase additional software in order to hear and see actual feed from websites. Based on the price and the reputation of RIM/Blackberry, I expected more especially being that this device debuted about the time as the I-Phone.
This phone was about as easy to use as a rocket ship

Excerpt: I hated this phone. I had to get it for work and I went from an I-Phone, which I personally think is amazing, to this blackberry. It was difficult to understand, especially because set up is so weird. You have to put icons on the screen, but half of the things you need are missing, and you can't figure out which icon you need to be able to get them. And that is not even the half of it. Texting is horrible.

Excerpt: Yes, it's small. Yes, it's cute! But, is it functional? When I am driving down the road wanting to make a business call? No! I couldn't find the button to retrieve clients numbers. I had this phone 28 days and returned it on the 29th day in time for a refund. I am computer savy, I am cell phone savy and can always figure them out in a day. This one stumped me.
Excerpt: The Blackberry 8830 World Edition was a phone that was provided to me by my employer. As a work issued phone it does the job as I am able to have full access to my work email box and am able to access the internet as well as our corporate intranet. This is not a phone I would purchase for personal use for reasons such as I'm not a fan of the keyboard, there is no camera built in, the phone itself is a bit large and the voice activated dialing button is located on the...
Summary: It is very very unfortunate that your product that I purchased from you did not meet up to the expectation upon which i purchased it from your company. You said the Blackberry is unlocked BUT it is LOCKED.A s it is now,I can not use it with Simple Network or other Networks because it is saying that the phone cannot accept any Network except Verison.
Summary: I bought this product to replace my Blackberry 8330. Pros: full keyboard, email, txt, basic web browsing, easy SD card access, clear headset speaker, Cons: no 3.5 headphone jack, low speakerphone, no side button for address book, big/square looking It's a decent phone for basic use, older options. I would recommend a newer model Blackberry.
