Summary: I used it out of the country and it did not disappoint me. A little bulky though if you are looking for a light phone. Still, it is a good phone to have handy if you are in a strange country without your network.
Summary: The phone I got was good, looked brand-new. No visible scratches, no faded keys. When I was trying to fit in the accessories, I could not fit back the battery cover. As I re-checked, something seemed wrong with the battery. The battery was bulged! Not sure how this happened.
Summary: I wanted a basic model of BB for texting and emailing, which is unlocked for overseas.. so far it worked well..I was initially not optimistic after seeing the previous reviews.. but am happy with the piece I have got!
Summary: It works as advertised. Beware of the merchant you are purchasing this from. I got one and it was not at all new. I called Amazon customer care and they promptly refunded my money back. I then placed a second order, this time merchant was Amazon and it was the perfect Blackberry.
a good phone but old now and there are much better phones now.

Excerpt: I have the black and chrome version of the 8800 and i am not sure if you can get any other colour versions. The phone even thought it isnt the newest blackberry can still get updates to the operating system and you can still get loads of apps from the blackberry app world.
Excerpt: This is by far the most reliable phone I have had. While not the newest, so with weaknesses such as a lack of 3G and a camera, it is a workhorse, and a mile apart from the newer models which seem to break far more often.
If it wasn't a work phone Id still consider buying one.
