Summary: I had a hard time and still cant put service on it from Verizon; its a great cost and wonderful item i just cant put service on it if theres a trick to it... please let me know i would love to get it up and running the Verizon pre paid would put the minutes or service on it i bought for it on phone for the said it was a refurbished phone i would love to be able to put a 5 star on it
Summary: First thing everyone should know if you don't take the time (like me) to read the full features/benefits of the phone is there is no camera. I had the 8330 and thought this would be a nice upgrade since it was wider - making the keyboard easier to use. It is much wider and does seem lighter weight than the 8330. However - the "mouse" is on the side and not in front.
Summary: i dont know wat to say bout this product i bought as i sent it to my son in jamestown, ny. cuz he told me he need a phone and it had to be a verizon phone, so i got him this one. but wen he got it...he was told by verizon tat he cant use it cuz it had features which would cost him 30.00 dollars more on his plan in order for him to use it.
Summary: I really needed a phone and fast. Not many people list CellularSouth phones, but I found this one and I liked the price and the fact that it was a Blackberry. It was very simple to learn how to use.
Summary: This product is extremely outdated. However, since RIM has always been hesitant with updating the UI software, you'd never know this device was older than some of the other devices used today. Overall, the 8703e is good for someone who wants a Blackberry for $10. You can get a much better deal for a much better device by signing up with Sprint on a new 2 year contract, or you can get a better deal by checking out your local craigslist and finding one on there for cheap.
