Summary: I bought two of these one for my little brother and one for my little sister. They are always stealing our moms phone to get online, talk on facebook and play games. These little tablets could be a little bit faster but it keeps them off of moms phone and keeps them busy!
Summary: The Archos 28 is a good value item. It isn't super for web browsing due to the size of the keypad and sensitivity or lack there of the touchscreen. It does a nice job as mp3 player and for listening to audio books.
Don't Expect it to be a Tablet and It'll Work Just Fine

Summary: Don't buy this if you are too cheap to buy a tablet. A lot of reviews express disappointment with the browsing features on this. Really? Why do you want to browse the internet on a 3" screen?? If you're too cheap to buy an iPod touch, however, the Archos 28 may be worth your time/money.
Pros: I bought this around Christmas 2010 and have been using it on a daily bases with very limited problems. The first few updates caused it to become unstable and laggy *but the most recent updates have fixed all the issues.* I use mine for streaming live radio stations and it sounds great using MP3 ...
Summary: I bought this primarily so I could send e-mails from wifi hot spots while on vacation and I wanted an MP3 player. I did not want to spend a lot because I will buy something bigger and better later on. I do not care about applications. The battery life is pretty good. The MP3 player is great.
Summary: I just got mine and it does what I expected from it. For under 100 dollars I did not expect as much functionality as I have gotten. It allows me to access email, Facebook and the Radio Time streaming internet radio station database through the TunedInRadio application.
Summary: I had my doubts when I purchased this device. I hadn't had a hands on experience with Android yet, and over the years I have tried many hand-held mp4 players that haven't lived up to the product description. This product is different.
Pros: Great battery life Compact/Highly portable Very Clear Screen Runs wide range of media formats Multi-tasking
Cons: Doesn't come with a wall charger, only a USB cable. This isn't a big deal, because you can pick up your own for cheap if you want one. Charges relatively fast on computer/USB. Wireless a 'little' weak. Not a big deal given the price.
Summary: I really like this as wireless music player and for streaming Internet radio. Like a tiny Swiss Army knife, the Archos 28 does a lot of things, but only the basic features shine in this unit. Not a substitute for a full size notebook PC.
Pros: Very small and handy - more than just an MP3 player.
Summary: The price dropped after I bought it. I recommend getting the 32 since its haves a camera and more storage and I think it has more ram plus a bigger screen and more additional support. I recommend downloading Arctools 0.45 from applib.
Pros: Everything compacted. Similar to the Apple's. Feels pretty sturdy. Easy to use. I think 3gb of storage is good. It plays most media files. WIFI makes it so much easier to update firmwire releases. Almost all the good apps are free.
Cons: Only have total of 3.18gb internal storage and like 250mb system storage. A bit laggy and over sensitive. The screen seems like cheap plastic. No speaker, but its just a PMP. Although it says you can play H264 and all the other formats after downloading the codec... well there is no codec to down...
