“Every once in a while a revolutionary product comes along that changes everything.” This is what Steve Jobs said when unveiling the iPhone at MacFest back in January 2007. The iPhone, which was over two years in the making at that time, caused a huge fan base to emerge in wait for the iPhone to be released. On June 29, 2007, the iPhone was released to the public. Hey did you hear? Apple came out with a mobile phone. Of course you heard—the only way you could’ve avoided the iPhone hype machine was to move to Antarctica, shut yourself in an igloo, and avoid all contact with other humans. But in case you’ve just crept out of your ice house, the iPhone is Apple’s new gadget that combines a mobile phone, iPod, and Internet access into one handy bundle that fits in your pocket. As a mobile phone, the iPhone is quite capable. Read more

This item arrived on time, and looked great, it just didn't work. I couldn't even turn it on! Seriously I sat there for maybe 15 minutes looking at the frozen start-up screen hoping it would pass. Then, when I went to exchange it for a working one they tell me 'I see you placed this order with our subsidiary Warehouse Deals. Read more

My son bought this phone and it worked great for two months till one day he had it on vibrate and it fell off the table and of course the face plate shattered when it hit the tile floor. I called Apple for him and they said he had to have there insurance to get it replaced which happens to be $500.00 the price the phone cost. I think there warranty should cover a shattered face plate. I saw it happen myself so they cant say my son did it any other way. Read more

This is the first Apple product I have tried. It will be the last. The installer will not connect to my WPA wireless network. Yes the password is correct. The option to install via iTunes just hangs doing nothing either. Web research indicates this is a known fault Well it's only one of the main Wireless protocols on the planet. Appalling. I have wasted 10 hours of my life on this garbage. Read more

I got a 4GB on the used market and 'fixed' it for the Tmob network. As a former Dash user, this phone ROCKS. It almost takes the place of my laptop. The screen is nice and bright. The previous owner took very good care of it. I can send and receive emails, search the web, make calls, listen to music, it's a well engineered device. I can't remember the last time the system software crashed, and it's never locked up on me. Now the bad news: It doesn't have GPS built in. Read more
