Apple store said this iphone had no serial number!
5 February 2014
Summary: Last year I had a minor accident with this iPhone (it fell from not a very high distance, maybe from above the knee, it was a slight fall) and something very uncommon happened: its screen stopped working! Technicians at the Apple store considered it -again- uncommon, and therefore decided to replace the iphone for a new one. In order to replace it, however, they needed to look at its serial number. To their surprise (and to mine!
Summary: In spite of the fact I had paid for expeditionary post service on Wed 01/29/2014 (it was promised the item would be delivered not later than Friday 01/31/2014) the new I-phone 4S came on Monday 02/03/2014 which is 3 days later. The package was half open, I didn't activate the phone yet. I lost $30 for the prepaid card (I had to wait 3 more days) and $12 for expeditionary service. No apologies, nothing. Also, I didn't get the receipt that I own the phone!!!!
Summary: This phone is not new! Two days after I bought it I got a mail saying that I'd get a 32GB one instead because of a special Christmas offer. However the phone I got was in no shape new. It was, in fact, a 32GB one, but the phone was rebuilt and a poorly job at that. It has loose parts and the has troubles with sounds within phone calls. NOT WHAT I PAID FOR!!
Summary: I had to go through hell to get it unlocked in Southamerica. It was in a Canadian service network wich was even harder to unlock than the American version. So when I got the phone, i took a month and a half plus $200 to be able to use it...
