Summary: The phone works. However, when we took it to an AT&T Store to get help with activation, and were told by the person in the store that they suspected the phone had been "re-boxed" due to the IESI being marked off the box, and the protective packaging not being the standard Apple packaging. He did say he thought the phone wasn't previously activated, but probably just re-packaged. This certainly raised a bit of a red flag since it was bought "AS NEW".
Summary: Verizon could not activate this phone. It has a Verizon sticker on the box with an activation number, but it cannot be used. Verizon could not activate the phone because, "This is NOT a Verizon phone," they said. Furthermore, when Verizon put in their SIM card [not included with the phone. How stupid is that?] a window on the iPhone itself popped up that said, "Invalid SIM card. This phone will not support this carrier." Do yourself a favor: don't buy.
Summary: Decent but there are some serious errors in its shippment and description. pros: no damage, came in box (sealed) , with charger and headphones. cons: its meant to be used for a verizon phone only, and cannot be converted to straight talk (regular sim card slots were not built in), and it came with no phone card like promised and described. overall: good phone and i like it, but it simply wasnt what i ordered!
