  • Summary: I have an IPhone. I get an inexpensive deal from a Wal-Mart subsidary that gives me the smartphone for less. Only the phone is still controlled by the carrier Verizon. Verizon refuses to remove a voicemail attachment to my phone that prevents me from answering my phone directly and sends callers to voicemail. Its tech managers have mocked me when I call them and ask to have it removed. "Oh, we do that for Verizon customers, but not for straight talk customers!" I'm told.
