Summary: Bought this for my boyfriend for his sons birthday. It didn't only have scratches but also some chips. Also the screen on it went blank and I had to reset the phone to get it to work properly again. I am still having problems getting it to go to the app store, am going to take it to AT&T hopefully they can help me. Was not the quality I was expecting from Amazon. I went with Amazon instead of an independent seller due to reputation, and still ended up disappointed.
Summary: Came in a timely manor and in the retail box. Took the phone out and it smelled brand new. The plastic covering was still in tact. Phone was unlocked and works with a T-Mobile sim card. As a different reviewer said you can't update the iOS because it will lock itself... or something along that matter. With this dilemma I can't download apps that run on iOS5 like Facebook, Twitter, or Smule. I'll have to find some older versions of those apps....

Excerpt: Bottom line, GREAT PHONE, but coulda been better..the best. Only if apple listened to the public. The phone is on contract because at the end of the day, apple wants money. What steve jobbs doesnt realise is that apple coulda made more money if IPHONE 3G WAS NOT UNDER CONTRACT. Think about it...all over the world, there are hundreds of networks..and apple decide that only a dozen of those are to be used...WTF! 100 networks + iphone 3g = $billions in apples pocket!!!!!!!
Excerpt: I was really excited to finally get my first smart phone last year, but to be honest I have been quite dissapointed. It definiely has a lot of cool applications, but there are many that requires an additional payment, and I really don't understand why I would want to do that when the monthly bill is already so expensive as it is. I also don't like how AT & T does not have an unlimited package anymore.
Excerpt: It's a great phone, easy for anyone to use whenever they want to, and it'll always have some fun games to waste time on. The 3g internet works, but it's locked on AT&T (3g internet is really expensive there) so I say it's better for it to stay on wi-fi. The battery doesn't last for very long, barely lasts a day, but it's fixed in the later versions. It's also pretty slow and doesn't have multitasking, which can be kind of annoying, but it's fixed in the later versions.
