Summary: "Been a big fan of Apple technology products for a while, I've got a Macbook and I've had an iPod as well, and it's all very user friendly and intuitive, which is something that is true of the iPhone 3G also. The touch screen is probably the best in the market, and I had a look at a friend's Samsung touchscreen phone and it was slow and unresponsive compared to the iPhone.
Summary: "This phone is an absolute diamond. I waited all my life for a phone this amazing to be invented, and finally I have one in my hands. Recent firmware update 2.1 has sorted out the battery. With the App Store the phone is limitless in it's abilities. This phone is the revolution that the hype suggests, it really really is!
Summary: "The best thing about the iPhone for me is the Home screen with all the little customisable widgets and applications that you can change up to your own desires. Personally I have iPod, call and text functions all ready and waiting, but if you want you can have websites or whatever else you use most frequently, and it's simple to set up.
Summary: "Best phone I've ever had. Massively extendable with the applications, great internet, great email, great syncing... only minor flaws are the initial reliability - it crashed a few times but early on but since recent firmware updates all has been ok (touch wood). Battery life is pretty decent too. Would have been nice to add a basic zoom to the camera. But really, with the amount of features available, it's not that much of a big deal. Great phone.
Summary: "This is my first experience with an Apple product - and I'm not disappointed! The phone looks lovely and is a pleasure to hold, the menus work really smoothly and it's got more features than all my family's phones put together! Battery life seems good as I haven't had to charge mine yet, and works perfectly with iTunes for music and podcasts. Very pleased!
Summary: "I was one of the many people who queued up to get the original iPhone when it came out, and I queued up again for the iPhone 3G. Why? Because Apple products are some of the best designed pieces of kit you'll ever have to use, and because all of the features that Apple thinks of first everyone is then trying to replicate, but it's the original that's always the best.
Summary: "This is the second phone I've had to come with a serious music player, and it's been far more successful than the first attempt. I'm familiar with my son's iPod, but even for the new user, the menus and iTunes software shouldn't cause any problems for most. GPS software is an interesting novelty and there are plenty of other fun features that I've yet to mess with.
Summary: "I use iTunes on my iPhone 3G now more than I did on my laptop, and I've downloaded quite a few songs directly to it, which saves messing about with cables and the like. Also, I use the Wi-Fi connection to get on the internet, which I think quite a few people don't know about, and it saves you using up your monthly data allowance on your contract, and it can be good if you don't live in a 3G area, like myself.
