Summary: The Alcatel Club DB was my first mobile phone, as I was on a tight budget, and it seemed the best value at the time. That was only last year though, and it was barely months before I was unsatisfied. Although it makes calls perfectly well and you can write and recieve messages on it, the interface leaves somewhat to be desired. Although the phone will display all characters, it is only able to create upper case, which will come across as SHOUTING in text msgs.
Summary: I've just bought one of these as a present for my girlfriend from Virgin. 30 quid including the connection pack with a fivers worth of calls, which I consider to be an excellent price. Now I have to state that the phone will not be used on the Virgin (One2One) network, so I can't really comment on that, as it was bought with the express intention of using as an upgrade to her old Nokia 402 on Orange. So if anyone is thinking of doing this, I can recommend it.
Summary: This is the second mobile I've owned and is among many I have used at one time or another, and it is simply the best one I've used, the built in hands free kit is very useful allwoing you to keep your hands for other activities and without the annoying "hands free" kits you get with other phones that include wires that tangle around you.
Summary: Simple to us and cheap to buy - £27.99. you get £2.50 on it and another £7.50 when you register. We have just bought this phone for our Mum as she is not exactly mobile phone orinated this is ideal. As its just for use if she goes out and needs to call anyone to help her this is just the job. You can put a £5 card on and use it. No getting a card every 60 days or a £15 one so everything is so easy.
Alcatel One Touch Club db: Alcatel Max db - A newbies opinion
19 July 2000
Summary: I decided to cast aside my principles and take the gamble of getting a mobile phone. I had already decided on going with the Virgin Mobile network because of the cheaper call tariffs otherwise I would have gone with Orange. It was just a case of picking a phone that I liked and that would do the job. I plumped for the Alcatel because it has good looks and is very practical.
Pros: Good looks, plenty of good features, exclusive to Virgin so cheap calls
Summary: When deciding on which phone to get i foolishly went on all looks and didn't really consider value for money. Now that i have this phone i find that the signal is feeble and rarely will i get a connection. When considering what phone to get u must take into account the networks ure mates r on, if u r on a different network to them you'll see your credit disappear rapidly.
Pros: virgin extras ans the streamline looks
Cons: Virgin network is feeble and so is da signal
Alcatel One Touch Club db: a decent phone....you could do better!!!!!

Summary: I purchased my alcatel with virgin mobile phones and at the time i was dead pleased with it. However within the first week of using my phone i spent ten quid (the amount which u get when u 1st purchase the phone). Text messages are a reasonable price at 10p but if you will txt alot then u should buy the BT Cellnet phillips c12, as u r able to get free messages. Not many people buy virgin phones , the virgin network is also feeble as the signal is poor.
Summary: I've recently bought this phone with Virgin mobile, and I have to say it's very good value for money at £60. Originally it was £70 that was only available in white but i've now got it in black, although I'd wish they would have it in silver (as in the picture)... The features you get with it are a belt clip, a desktop charger, rather than a stand-alone adapter, and also the best of the 3 battery packs that are available for th model, being able to recharge in 60 mins.
Pros: Bundled with many features
Cons: Not a WAP phone and also has sh*t ring tones.
In ...
Pros: fu pioniere; vivavoce !
Perliamo ...
