27 March 2014
Summary: I have received today the phone. It is ok. The display is ok (for this price) and the sound is nice (at the speaker). The problem is at the customer service. I have received my package and the original phone box was opened (the acer seal was cut). and the earplugs were missing!
Summary: I primarily use the phone for email and social networks, also but less for calls, browsing the web and maps. The review is based on what I do with the phone, so for example I don't know how it performs in games because I never play games. The good things about it: Battery life - I get two days of regular use without any battery saving app or trying to save the battery by reducing usage.
Summary: Yes it is a budget price phone but brilliant value for money so why pay more. It does everything a more expensive phone can do, it is slim and has its own screen cover and is very quick to navigate through the numerous functions. Absolutely delighted with the phone.
Summary: Looked up information on this phone and found out it was popular, easy to use and had the latest dual sim and also Jelly Bean android system 4.2.2 at the time . The price was superb and as promised got it in reasoanable time. I think the phone is superb and well up there with larger more powerfull and more expensive phones we can't mention.
Summary: i was annoyed at this phone as it refused to let me upload videos from my sd card-very annoying.a notice kept flashing up sayng that what i wanted to do was not supported-irritating.i initially bought this sim-free phone to take advantage of my 500mb of monthly data i get with my 02 tariff, but if it cannot do something as simple as let me upload and watch speeches and documentaries, what was the point?
Summary: I have had this phone for almost a week now, and have found it to get better and better. I went from an HTC Desire to this phone after deciding to go sim only and refusing to pay the big bucks. True the screen resolution isn't as good and the speaker is a little tinny, but I have found that you don't notice this after a day or two. On the plus side, the sound quality through the jack is much better than the HTC I had. The phone isn't sluggish either.
Summary: This is an interesting phone. Up until now there have been no small phones with decent processors. Small these days means at least 120mm x 60mm, which still seems big to me. Most phones around 110mm are sporting 600-800MHz single core processors and 320x240 screens. This Acer Liquid Z3 is dual core 1GHz and 480x320 at roughly 110mm x 60mm. This means that most every day apps launch quickly and the phone seems pretty snappy to me.
