Summary: When I first got this I would have given it 4/5 stars. But now after a year, I hate it. The internal memory is basically full of stupid apps that you never use and cannot delete. You can have additional storage on a mini SD but this caused issues for me when phone got jostled around it would come loose and then none of my things would open or work. It turns itself off all the time.
Pros: Nice to hold, easy to use, swype, light, good camera
Summary: Unfortunately, this phone has had to be returned twice since purchase --- unusual for Acer products. However, complaints were dealt with speedily. If it has to be returned a third time, Acer have promised to replace it.
Summary: The school I work at has just bought 120 of these phones for the pupils. Out of which 16 (so far) have had to be sent back to the manufactures. The most fundamental problem with this phone is the battery and its casing. If fully charged the phone will not turn on - even if you drain the battery. I know, it sounds incredible. You have to hack the phone by connecting a stripped USB wire and touching the +5v and -5v wires together.
Summary: This phone went wrong after just 2 weeks of use. I returned it at my expense to the seller only to be told it wasnt covered by warranty but i could pay a further £90 to repair it and a further 35 euros to ship it back. They are selling sub standard merchandise and then try to capitilise on your misfortune.
Summary: Bought for my daughter who had never had a smart phone before, so found it a bit tricky at first. After 2 weeks she thought it was great but it could do with a better camera. A month later my Nokia packed in, so I bought the Acer for myself. Took me a week or so to get used to it, but now what a fantastic phone. It does all I want and much more.
Summary: Excellent android phone, more compact than the massive-screened high end ones but fast and powerful enough that I, as a computer nut, don't feel annoyed at all at its performance. The interface and lock screen Acer have loaded are reasonably fast and responsive and it runs games such as Angry Birds and SNES emulators absolutely fine, haven't tried it with anything more graphically advanced yet but I find it hard to imagine it would have much trouble.
Summary: I got this after my 5 year old samsung toco thing started to die on me and was expecting somthing better not worse. If some one txts you it becomes a thread which is fine but next time you want to send a message you go to messages and all that is on the screen is this last thread and a box to start typing a reply into.
Summary: Overall it's not bad but there are some annoying problems: - the touch keyboard is hard to use because keys are small and the screen is convex, so very often I don't hit the key I thought I was hitting. I compared with other phones and it's clear that it's much harder to type with this one - I can't figure out how to switch the auto-completion language without changing the keyboard layout at the same time.
