  • Conclusion: The saving grace of the E210 is the keyboard, and to be fair to Acer they have got a very nice keyboard here which is both spacious and tactile so they deserve credit for that. Even so, I don’t think this is anywhere near enough to justify £100 well spent, especially when phones such as the Orange San Francisco are available for the same price which is a much better buy. Acer beTouch E210 Review: In Depth

Recombu

  • Conclusion: As a phone to do the basics, the Acer BeTouch E210 is fine. Call quality is alright and the decent keyboard makes texting and emailing no hassle. The touchscreen and mediocre camera are our main bugbears of Acer’s BeTouch E210. While you can navigate the menus of the BeTouch E210 with the optical trackpad, having an unresponsive touchscreen limits the phone’s usefulness and appeal.

  • Conclusion: The strong sides of this phone are the fact it comes with Froyo - the Android craze is raging around the world - and its physical QWERTY, which is really comfy to use. Sadly, its cons overpower the Acer beTouch E210 's pros. The browsing experience suffers notably from the low resolution and the small resistive screen.
  • Pros: The very presence of Froyo, Comfy to use physical QWERTY
  • Cons: Resistive screen and low resolution, Not good as a phone, Uncomfortable browsing, Shoots awful photos and videos

  • Summary: Overall it is a nice device if you are just going to be using it for messaging, emails or phone calls. If you want a device for installing lots of apps on then I would not bother. Price wise it seems a better deal than a Blackberry because of the spec, but the lack of support for the low resolution. You can pick one of these up for approx £210.
