The Motorola KRZR K1m is a gorgeous phone with cutting-edge design and features like EV-DO internet connection, video streaming, MP3 capabilities, and two full-color screens. With its shiny metallic-glass front thin design, the K1m flip-phone is a fashion statement. The phone also includes a 1.3-megapixel digital camera with video capture and playback, innovative touch sensor music, integrated GPS navigation, Bluetooth 2.0 technology, Over-the-Air Synchronization and expandable memory up to 1 GB through optional microSD cards. The open K1m feels very comfortable against the ear, and because it’s so narrow, it’s easy to hold. The K1m’s display is very bright and clear, and has a wide viewing angle. The comfortable keypad has a cool aqua-blue backlight. Multimedia is where the KRZR K1m falls apart. The reception and sound quality of the KRZR is good. Voices are clear and had no interference or static. However, if a user’s hand completely covers up the bottom of the phone that houses the internal antenna, there will be a drop in call quality. The earpiece speaker has eight levels of volume, with medium or medium-high sounding best. The speakerphone is clear and not distorted as long as the volume is not turned up to the highest setting. Users can also close the flip while using the speakerphone. The battery delivers 3 hours of talk time and 6 days of standby.
Not only is the 1.3-megapixel camera hardly cutting-edge, but it also lacks a flash. The phone also has decent MP3 capabilities. Users may buy and download songs directly from VCAST, or upload files from a PC via USB cable. However, users may not use iTunes files, but must upload songs from a Windows computer via Windows Media Player 10. VCAST’s video menu took a long time to load on the phone, the interface seemed sluggish, and videos were very choppy. Plus, while the V CAST Music store works smoothly, users have to open the phone and click at least three times before music starts playing. The external touch-sensitive buttons are pretty, but they can be both not sensitive enough. However, the speaker is loud and games played adequately well. The phone uses a USB jack for headsets, but comes with an adapter for standard 2.5-mm headsets. The new KRZR K1m is an improvement on the previous KRZR, but there are other slim phones available with better multimedia options.
Imagine a phone you’ll look forward to. Every time you flip it open, the MOTOKRZR will outshine the rest. It takes crisp photos, offers more entertainment and will help you make the most of your ti…
Motorola KRZR K1 is a worthy successor of the old Motorola RAZR through its design and price. The phone "sticks" by your hand the moment you get it and will surely attract many looks when you'll get your K1 out of your pocket (pouch). In terms of design there's nothing better, but if you look past it at its functionality you'll be a little bit disappointed. Read more
Being a V3 RAZR user for over a year without any specific unenthusiastic comments, I must say that Motorola’s new KRZR is without doubts a major improvement in design. Its stylish and sleek look is guaranteed to make a lot of heads turn. If spending 400$ for the KRZR is a bit too much for you, I would without doubts recommend to take a look at the V3 RAZR; you get a very similar technical package to the KRZR for a significant lower price tag. If money is not an issue ... Read more
With its glossy metallic-glass frontplate and its ultra-trim design, the KRZR K1m is arguably the shiniest, slimmest, swankiest mobile phone on the market. Users on the lookout for revolutionary style and compactness should be very happy with the KRZR. The KRZR K1m combines its glossy, skinny self with standard high-end features to create a tantalizing new cell phone package. Read more
Motorola has launched a new leader. The popular RAZR is being substituted by the new KRZR, whose glossy materials look luxurious. On the other hand, the innovations made since the forerunner are very few. Is this wrong? Not at all, provided all you need is a new pretty toy. Read more
The model delivers good receiving quality, typical for all modern devices. Ring tones’ volume is slightly above average, midi-tunes are played back via 64-chord polyphony module, which ensures fairly great sounding. The silent alert is nothing special on the KRZR – it’s somewhere between “average” and “slightly above average” strength-wise. The loudspeaker outputs enough volume during conversations for nearly all environments. It is one the first Motorola-branded mode... Read more
I just recently bought this phone a few days ago. I owned a Motorola Razor V3 before. I couldn't believe how much space this phone had compared to my older one. I loved the fact that you can buy and use a memory stick for extra space. I would recommend this over a MotoRazor V3 any day. Comment Read more

I have owned this phone for about a month now and I really like it. Having owned a Motorola before it did not take me too long to become reacquainted with the slightly different functionality of using a Nokia. Read more
Lovin' this Moto from Verizon for 5 weeks. If had listened to all the naysayers on here would have missed out on this sue-wheet phone. It is a bit thin for long calls so I've ordered an extended battery via Ebay which others say helps with the comfort. Just keep the camera lens clean and it's a great phone. Still can't figure out why it sounds better when the lens is clean. Anyone know? Read more
