Excerpt: I had returned a Parot MiniKit because the battery life was unacceptable. I paid a little more and got this Motorola. Battery in Motorola is not any better than the Parot. Now I just leave the charging cord plugged in to the unit and dangle it from the rearview mirror. About every other day I have to plug it in and let it charge. If i had to do over again I would find a unit that hardwires to fuse panel. BTW...
Excerpt: I like this mostly but there a few problems. The on-off light is impossible to see if it is on or not and also it seems to lose the connection to my phone occassionally and I have to "pair it" again . When it is working properly it is great though.
Excerpt: Sometimes it is difficult to hear the other party speak if you are on the highway or there is any other noise in the car. Talk to text does not work very well. Over all a good product and great battery life. Charges quickly.
Excerpt: It is interesting that the manufacturer elected to omit information on the box indicating that this device does not read text to voice for iPhones. I contacted customer service but they had no solutions. Misleading packing is my complaint.
Summary: All in all it's what I would have expected from a non/name-brand $25 unit :(
Pros: Paired right away to my Samsung Galaxy Note II, using it in a 2010 Honda Fit Sport. Makes a great GPS speaker! About a week of use and the battery is still "high", only charged it once when I got it, and have left it on since even when not in the car. The unit activates itself when you get in your car, even with Bluetooth off on my phone? lol Can also answer a call with a voice command :)
Cons: FM mode is useless, don't buy it just for that feature... It lets you set it to like 4 different stations from 88.5FM - 88.9FM (using the -/+ keys), all of which have some sort of broadcast in my central mass area, so it's competing with real broadcast towers lol, when I did get it to work there was enough static in the parking lot I was sitting in to not want to trust being on the phone if I drove off... It works ok as a speakerphone with my wife's at the same time d...
Pros: Good Battery Life, Great Bluetooth Auto sensing and auto-wakeup when getting into car. Fair Microphone for conversations, Fair Echo Cancelation for noise cancelation
Cons: Fm Radio is staticy as the signal is too weak from the front of car to the back window antenna. included software will notwork with iphone. Siri voice dial/ speak a message does not work well with Roadster speakerphone. Unusable for Streaming Music
Excerpt: Takes long time to charge. Difficult to set up because their instructions are skimpy & poorly descriptive. Referral to internet site is useless since that contains the same info that's in the book accompanying the product.
